2 Talents in a Show

Third chapter!!! I can't believe I'm actually writing a story!!! Oh well! ENJOY!

Cassie's POV

I jumped out if bed when my alarm went off. Throwing on some clothes, I dragged myself downstairs to eat breakfast. I ate my cereal and got ready. My mom got me on the bus and I whipped out my iPod in the bus. Uggh. This is going to be a long day.

After all her classes/ on the bus home.

I can't wait for the talent show! Except for the fact that I'm competing against my BFF Jenna and her twin Jessica. They are singing Let it Go from Frozen. Which is a song everyone, and I mean EVERYONE, knows and loves. Plus, they're is dang talented! I'm doomed to lose this competition.

Once I get home, I run upstairs and flop onto my bed. I lay there for a while remembering lyrics in my head. I had almost fell asleep when I heard yelling. "CAAAAA-SSSIEEEEE!!!!!" There's my 8 and a half year old brother Derek. "Yes?" I said groggily into the pillow I had been resting my head on. "It's time to go!!!!!"

He said back, mimicking my tone. What?!?!?! I am not even close to being ready!! "OK I'll be down in like 5 minutes!!" I screamed as I ran to my drawers to pick out a better outfit. I settle on some cute leggings (not tribal print), a bright pink sweater and some black flats to go with the leggings.

I ran down the stairs as fast as I could, stopped to grab my lyric sheet then bolted to the car. Phew! That was tiring. I did ALL that yet I am not in the Olympics. I could be!!

We drove for about 30 minutes until we arrived in my schools parking lot. I checked the time on my moms dashboard to see it was.......CRAP!! 5 minutes till the first act starts!! Better hurry!!!
