And opened the blinds to see.....
OMG!!! Snow Day!!!! The white fluffy snow floated into the room when I opened the window. Then I had a different thought. The talent show! Dang it! I guess the school will reschedule it.
"Ring, ring." There's the phone. I run to the phone in my parents bed room, casually pick up the phone and answer "Hello this is Cassie. Who may I be speaking to?" The other side of the line was silent for a second and then beeped. A minute went by and then I heard an automated voice.
It said "Hello. We would like to inform you that due to the snowstorm last night, the West Hill Middle School talent show will be postponed till and rescheduled to be tomorrow. Thank you and have a nice day."
Well at least I'll have more time to practice. For the talent show I'm going to sing the song "Blonde" by Bridget Mendler. So this was my agenda for the day:
1. Practice for the talent show while cleaning room.
2. Watch A LOT of YouTube.
3.Sleep as much as possible.
4.Have hot chocolate.
I admired my list and set to work. I jumped up and ran to my room. I pushed my brother out and started. First I put any dirty clothes in the hamper and put "Blonde" on repeat. I just hummed for the first time, then sang softly on the second. Then for the third, I sang loudly in my full voice. I repeated this one more time. "Oh oh oh. I'm I'm I'm a blonde. Oh oh oh I'm I'm I'm a blonde." I finished singing and cleaning.
Next I yanked my iPod off my bed and grabbed my earbuds. Once I plugged my earbuds in and put them in my ears, I opened my YouTube app for a marathon. First I checked Bethany's channel for a new video. YASSSSS!! New video!! Before I clicked it I made hot chocolate and sat down. I watched her "Christmas Presents" video and a few old ones. I checked JacksGap and ThatsSoJack. Ah. This is the life.
I fell asleep listening to Jack and Finn's lovely voices. I woke up and checked to see the time. 10:00. Not bad. I headed upstairs humming "Blonde" and plopped onto bed. Ahhhhh. Time to sleep.
