Cassie's POV

I was singing my heart out on that stage and it almost dropped out of my chest when I saw these three people in suits watching me intently. Who the heck are they? I answered my own question. When I finished the crowd cheered and I ran off stage where everyone congratulated me like I had won.

When I ran down the secret passageway from the stage, I ran into someone. I mumbled "Sorry" and kept moving. They did not. Instead they stood there and said "Hello Cassie. We heard you sing up there," I held my breath "You are very good and I would like to offer you a deal."

I gasped. "You will have to talk to my mother." I said. Then ran away. At first my thought was: They must be like the FBI or something. This is a crazy thought I know. Then I realized, they're producers.

When I turned the next corner to get into the cafeteria (where this was being held) someone else offered me a deal. I looked up and he was like 10 times my size! I mean not literally but he was big compared to me.

In a desperate attempt to run into someone I knew, I tripped on my shoelaces and ended up at my crushes feet. Well at least it was someone I knew! He helped me up and said "Great job Cassie! Oh, and tell Jenna and Jessica they did really good!" I smiled back and mumbled something that I hoped sounded like and "Okay". I powered forward when I saw my BFF's and my mom. Just when a woman asked me "Would you like a record deal?" I backed up and gave the same answer I gave the other producer.

My mom had apparently saw me struggling and came to help. "Come on Cassie, we need to talk.........."
