Cassie's P.O.V
I went backstage with the other acts to find Jenna and Jessica warming up. "Doe, doe ray doe, doe ray me ray doe, doe ray me fa me ray doe, doe ray me fa so fa me ray doe."
Even doing that they sound amazing. I join them in a second round of the same sequence. "AHHH!!! We are so excited!!!!" They both squeal at the EXACT same time. "Ya me too!! Woo!" I say enthusiastically trying to hide the nervous tone in my voice.
The announcer ( who happened to be one of my best friends, Rose) told the crowd and performers that the first act would go on in 2 minutes and that Jenn and Jess were performing first.
As soon as 2 minutes passed Jenn and Jess stood up and walked nervously on stage. Even though I'm not going on there I'm so nervous and shaking uncontrollably.
"Jenna and Jessica will now be performing Let it Go from Frozen." They walked onto the stage looking as confident as ever. Jenna started singing "The snow glows white on the mountain tonight, not a footprint to be seen. A kingdom of isolation and it looks like I'm the queen......." They kept on switching lines until the very end when Rose announced I would be going on soon and wishes me good luck.
I stopped before I walked on, took a deep breath, then ran out before I could run backwards. Everyone stopped to stare when they heard me run up, then my friend Britney yells out "GO CASSIE!!!!" And turn to look at her.
The music starts and I start to sway to the beat, like as if I'm in my bedroom cleaning. Andddddddddddd here's my cue................... Crap!
K. I know short but there are many chapters to come. BTW sorry for never updating after my few posts!! 😬
