We Are A Family

Chapter Four

Stefan and Damon made me go back to school the next day. This day was even worse, than the first. I feel like everyone just keeps staring at me and it's really starting to piss me off.

I found Jeremy in the library during lunch. He was working on a project about his family's history.

"Hey Jeremy." I said as I slid next to him on the ground.

"Oh hey Sophia. So I skipped lunch, I really want to get this project done. It's really interesting."

"It's fine." I snickered. "It's just nice being around someone who isn't staring at you."

Jeremy started to laugh.

"What's so funny?" I said starting to laugh at his laugh.

"Everyone's staring at you because you're the new "hot girl"."

"I'm the new "hot girl"? I don't know if I should feel honored or weirded out."

We both sat there laughing.

"Hey, you're part of a founder's family. Has your family ever told you these after the civil war?"

"Oh you mean all the searchings and the killings?" Jeremy looked at me with much interest. "From what I read in some old journals that there were a lot of animal attacks. I guess the animal lived close to the Salvatore's old proberty. "

"Do you know what kind of animal?"

I shook my head.

"Well, I gotta go. Bye, Jeremy." I smiled and walked off.

As I walked out of the library, I accidentally ran into this muscular guy. It was Tyler.

"Oh my god. I'm so sorry!" I said as I reached down and grabbed my backpack that I dropped.

"No, I'm sorry. I was texting while walking."

"And people these days are more worried about texting while driving."

We both laughed.

"Hey, there's this party after the game tonight. Maybe I'll see you there?" Tyler smirked at me and walked off.

Did I just get myself a date?? EEEPP!!

After cheer practice, I asked Caroline if she was going to the party and she acted like it was a stupid question.
She said the squad is wearing their cheer uniforms and the football players are wearing their clean jerseys to the party.

I was actually pretty excited.

I decided to stop at the house before the game and drive with Stefan.

As I walked into the house, Stefan and Damon had their panic voices on while Elena looked very confused.

"Well, someone had to turn him, Damon!" Stefan was blaming about something.

"I didn't turn him! I was with you. "

"That doesn't mean you didn't before that."

"Um, what's going on?" I said cautiously walking in.

"Ask the new vampire in town!"

Great, now Damon's blaming me. It's like we're kids again.

"Soph, what did you do before you came to the house the first day? " Stefan asked calmly even though you could tell he was freaking out.

"Nothing? I was in Atlanta then came straight to the house. Why, what happened?" I was more confused than ever.

"Damon killed this guy, Logan Fell, the night you arrived. He had the old Gilbert Device."

"Wait. The device Mr. John had that tracked vampires?"

"That's the one. " Damon said pouring himself some bourbon.

"He showed up at my house last night." Elena said finishing the moral of the story.

"Are you accusing me of feeding him my blood? Seriously?"

"Yes. You are the only new vampire in town." Damon said not sympathetically.

"Well, that's where you're wrong. I don't feed just anybody my blood. Now, I need to go get ready. Stefan, we have to leave soon."

They all looked at each other then watched me walk to my room. I overheard them talking about me.

"Are you sure she didn't do it?" Elena whispered.

"Sophia, may be snotty and bitchy, but she most definitely is not a liar." Damon responded.

"He's right. There has to be another vampire around town, but the real question is who."

I walked downstairs in my uniform and my high ponytail with a cute ribbon in it. I twirled for everyone because I knew I looked amazing.

"I'll be in the car." I said walking out the door.

"I'm going to see the Sheriff. To see if she knows anything about a new vampire." Damon said.

Damon ran out of the house.

Stefan and Elena kissed each other before getting into the car on the way to the school. They were trying not to talk about the party in front of me until Elena realized I had to be invited because cheerleader.

We arrived at the school. Stefan and Elena kissed one last time before a Stefan went to the locker room and Elena and I walked over to the field where we saw Caroline and Bonnie.

"Oh my god! Sophia! I heard Tyler talked to you about the party!" Caroline said still being her perky self.

I could feel that I was blushing and I had a huge smile on my face.

"Your brothers are going to kill you." Elena said with a little laugh.

I shrugged it off. "They can't kill me, if they don't know." I smirked.

"Just be careful with him. He's a good guy, but he's trouble." Bonnie added.

"I'll be okay." I smiled.

Elena left to go sit in the crowd and cheer Stefan on. While, Caroline, Bonnie and the rest of the cheerleaders and I did cheers that were older than they were.

We ended up winning the game while Stefan got the winning touchdown. Since we won the game, this party was going to be way more extreme than it was already going to be.
