"You played great!" Sakura's mother said, as she kissed her sweaty forehead. Her volleyball team had just won one of the most important games of the season. "Thank you, Mom. I have to get back to the locker room, I'll meet you guys at the house."
"Your father and I are grabbing dinner, what would you like?" Mebuki asked making Sakura shrug while saying, "Whatever you guys want. It doesn't matter." She nodded, "Okay, see you at home." As soon as she opened the door to the locker room, she heard her excited teammates cheer, while their coach tried to shut them up.

"Ladies! Settle down!" Temari yelled, getting everyone's attention. "Thank you. Now, the rest of this week we have practice right after school. This weekend will be semi-finals, and a week later will be finals. I know that you all are physically prepared, but I want you all to be mentally prepared, because this is not the time to joke around. On a side note, I'm proud of every single one of you." Coach Anko said with a bright smile, making her team start to cheer rambunctiously.

Once their coach left, Sakura and her girls hopped into the locker room showers, before putting on their teams running shorts and varsity jackets. "My legs are so sore," Sakura groaned as she drove Hinata and Ino home from the gym. "Same, this year's competition is gonna be even harder."
"But I think that we're ready for the most part." Hinata said with a yawn. "Definitely, we got this."
"Are you going to talk to Sasuke?" They asked,
seeing his car in the driveway as Sakura drove past his house. She nodded before taking a deep breath, "I plan on it. Wish me luck."

"You'll be fine, I bet he's good." Ino said while stepping out of the car. "Hopefully."
"Well call me later, and tell me everything."
She said with a wink, before closing the rear passenger seat door. "Use protection!"
She yelled from her front door, making Hinata and Sakura laugh. When Sakura drove a few houses down, to Hinata's she asked her, "Are you ready for your date?"

"Yeah, just a little nervous."She said with a sigh, "You'll be fine, I bet he likes you a lot."
"You think?"
"Of course! You're great, who wouldn't?"
Sakura said while sitting in front of her home.
"Yeah, I guess you're right. I'll keep you posted." She said while they hugged goodbye.

When Sakura finally made it home, she noticed that her parents weren't home as the house was utterly silent. Walking upstairs, and into her room, Sakura opened her curtains and saw that Sasuke wasn't in his room, although his car was in his driveway. Closing the curtains, she stripped out of clothes, and walked into her bathroom to take another shower. Music played from her waterproof speaker, as she sighed while thinking of Sasuke. She wanted to talk to him, but as she thought about everything that happened today, she would understand if he didn't want the same. Although she wasn't even completely sure what the truth was, she felt bad after being so immature.

Turning the shower off, she wrapped a towel around her body, while looking at herself in the foggy mirror, admiring how good her body looked. She silently thanked her volleyball coach, for forcing her to engage in cardio exercises, because the results were always worth it. While Sakura moisturized her skin, she looked down at her phone to see that it was getting late. With her favorite robe on, she went into her room, and jumped as she saw Sasuke sitting on the edge of her bed, shirtless. "Fuck, Sasuke!" She yelped, before picking up the phone that she had dropped on the wooden floor. "Sakura. Sit down." He said in a low, demanding tone. Sitting next to him, she crossed her legs while looking him in his onyx eyes. "I'm not in a relationship. Believe me."

"Okay." Sakura said, completely hypnotized by his gaze. "Okay? You finally believe me?"
He asked with a smile, and she rolled her eyes. "Sasuke, shut up."
"Go lock your door." Sakura said, which he did, before she stood up and walked toward him. His hands rested on her hips. "You're so demanding." He smiled a little, "You like it." Instead of agreeing with her, he said, "You're the only girl I want, Sakura."
