Mai x Naru

Mai had just finished her graduation ceremony. Standing among her friends and Naru holding her close, it was finally time to tell her friends the exciting news.

"Umm Guys there's something you need to know..." Mai gently told them with a tad nervous. Knowing her friends they will go over board with everything.

Michiro and Keikio immediately brought there full attention to Mai. Mai is the type that would only start off important information with we need to talk, there's something you need to know etc. this is her way of starting the news, and it's usually news that she's kept a secret until a certain time. Which means for them they can't pressure for answers.

"Well you see, I umm, I'm kinda of umm, pregnant." Mai said wincing, waiting for the rejects of support.

"Your." Keikio started off the question, only for her other best friend Michiro to finish it.

"Pregnant?"

"OMG!" The two girls started jumping up and down. They rambled on happily at the news of their best friend not only getting the man of her dreams first but also the first to be having a child out of the trio. Mai smiled and seemed to be almost brought to tears. She was afraid of being rejected on this. It's looked down upon to have a child out of wedlock and not be out of college for it. Many of the older folk would judge her and the circumstances which brought the child to be conceived.

Mai turned around for a moment acting on pure instinct. Once again her animal instincts struck again. There in her sights was Naru. He was wearing a white dress shirt and black slacks. He was also carrying flowers. Beautiful flowers of pinks and blues. She couldn't tell what kinds of flowers from the distance. Immediately she broke out a huge smile with a few tears in her eyes. He was here. He came.

Naru started to walk towards her, and she did the same. No more running while being pregnant, don't want her to be tripping now.
Once they met he immediately embraced her in a hug. Naru has been waiting until he could hold her again. Once he let go, he stared into Mai's large brown eyes that took his breath away. She's the very core of his happiness. His thumb wipes away a few tears that escaped her lashes.

"I love you Naru. I love you." Mai kept repeating this over and over.

"I love you." Naru replies simply all the while finally kissing her after months of no physical affection. After all words can go so far, actions speak louder.

"Mai, I love you so much. If I were to lose you, I have no clue how I would be able to handle it. I don't know if I would be able to move forward. I want to be with you forever with our children." Naru got on one knee, taking out a silver box. "Mai Taniyama, would you please marry me and keep making me tea?"

"Yes! A million times yes!"

After putting the ring on her finger, he once again kissed her.

"At least you said please...." she murmurs in between kisses.
