"Blegh!!!"
Why am I puking? This is weird, and it only happens in the morning or when I eat certain foods that I normally like to eat.

After it happened for two weeks, I got tired of it happening. So it was time to go to the doctor. Not just any doctor, I have to go to Ayako.

After the last time I went to the doctor she wouldn't let me go to anyone else, fearing what could happen.

Flashback

I went to the doctor two months before Naru left.

Waiting in the room, finally the doctor came. But she was different, nothing like she usually was. I knew right away that she was possessed by a spirit. She attacked me. If Naru didn't insist on waiting outside in order to get me back to work I could have died.

End flashback

Grabbing my purse and keys, I headed out to Ayako's hospital. Thankfully I knew her hospital schedule in order to come in case of an emergency. My gut feeling said that this was an emergency that needed my attention and strangely Naru's too. Hopefully it's noting bad.

After the long trip to the hospital, I made my way to Ayako's office. Hopefully she'll be there doing paperwork and needed a good distraction at the moment. That's the best time to get her attention. She'll become quick on the uptake and overly nice to get out of the "hell-hole" she had nicely put it.

"Mai! Thank god! What do you need?"
Ayako shouted out as soon as I opened the door.

"I came cause I've been throwing up every morning and when I eat foods that I normally like. Even when I eat certain vegetables! I don't know what's wrong. And I get moody everyone and the ."

After I explained the situation, Ayako froze. Her eyes turned wide and her jaw went slack. What is it? What's happening??!

"Come with me." Ayako stormed out of the office, I quickly followed her, I don't want to get her mad when she's in severe doctor mode.

She led me all the way to another room. One wall was painted a baby blue, on the other side it was a baby pink, and right in the middle it was white. There was a normal structure of any other room except it had more complicated equipment in addition to the ones I normally see, (and not the ones where I almost die).

"Lay down on there, and pull up your shirt."

I did as instructed.

"Now I'm going to put this gel on your stomach, just to warn you it is cold."

As soon as the gel stuff made it's way onto my skin, I hissed out. This stuff was freezing!! She rubbed it all over my belly. After washing her hands she started hooking stuff up to this monitor thing. She moved the screen in a way that I wouldn't see it. I pouted. I want to see what's going on... after that she brought out this weird thing and put it on top of the gel, she circled around a bit before she started to burst out laughing. Smiling and wide eyed, she moved the screen to where I could see it once again.

"Congratulations Mai! Your Pregnant! And it looks like it'll be twins. It's a bit to early to see there gender yet."

I'm pregnant.

I'm having twins.

How do I tell Naru?!?

He did say he'll come back when there's an emergency and I guess this counts as an emergency. I have no choice. I need him here. I want him here, not only me but I want him here for them too.

Naru Pov

I was helping out in setting up the table, since apparently we are going to have guests. These were apparently potential coworkers in fathers business. Hopefully they wouldn't be a headache. I'm practically going in tea withdrawal because no one can seem to make it perfect, like Mai's.

Eventually the door bell rang through out the house. There here. I wonder if I can make up an excuse that I have a paper to write to get out of this. Although I already know it's too late considering mother has been going off the walls about the preparations for tonight's dinner. It's to late to escape.

Taking my seat I await the arrival of our guests, which I want even told who they were before hand so I can research there background. Mother forbid me and father to do any work at the table. So me and my father discussed things while making mental notes in wait of our guests.

Around ten minutes later, the guests finally made their way into the dining room. The first one was a couple, a tall man who looks like he had one two many scones. His hair was grey and balding fast. The mans eyes were a dark green. The women was a short red head who looks like a stick. She wore too much makeup in effort to hide her wrinkles. They were both at least in their late forty's early fifties. Behind them was an average young adult women. Presumably their daughter. She had dark green eyes like her father but a darker shade of red hair from her mother. She too wore a lot of make up and looked like a stick.
England's standards went down since his absence. Thankfully he was gone.

"Oliver these are the Patterson's, this is Geoffrey and his wife Arlin and their daughter Mary." His mother introduced him.

This is already going down hill.

Dinner had started. Geoffrey and father were in a deep conversation, while my mother spoke to Arlin. Sadly that left Mary to try her endless flirting with me.

"Miss Patterson, I would like that you stop your useless flirting with me."

"Oh Luella! Wouldn't  it be great if Oliver and Mary were to become engaged?" Arlin n commented. So this was there real goal. To tie the knot in order to get the gold. To bad I wouldn't let that happen.

"I'm sorry, but I would have to decline on such notions. I'm already in a relationship."

Even though I've said this, the Patterson's wouldn't let up. Even my parents tried to stop them. They knew that once I found someone worthy, I wouldn't let them go and even if I did I wouldn't find another.

At that moment I got a call from Mai. It most be important cause she usually calls when she is going to bed, and for me I'm at the office.

"Mother I must take this phone call. It's Mai."

"Go ahead dear, answer right now!"

"Mai, is something wrong? Did something happen?" I started speaking in Japanese out of habit when talking to her. It was nice to slip back every now and then.

"Um Naru, I ugh. I'm pregnant." Mai stumbled around.

I'm going to be a father! I'm going to be a father.

"And it's twins!!" I heard Ayako in the background.

Twins. Two.

Instantly I break out smiling. This is amazing!

"Mai I'll be taking the next flight I can back to Japan! I'll be there as soon as I'm able. I love you."

"I love you too!"

Once I snapped my phone shut, I was thrown one question right and left.

"Who was that? Why were you speaking another language? Why are you finally smiling?" All from the Patterson's. Of course my father and mother knew Japanese so they knew it was important.

"That was Mai. I'm, I'm going to be a father. She's going to have twins!"

After not so subtly kicking the Patterson's out, I rushed to pack for the next flight to Japan, after telling Lin and Madoka the good news. We rushed to the airport. I can't believe it. I'm going to be a father.
