Chapter 1: Disscussion about Jaden

Alexis

It has been a year since we arrived back to our dimension . Jesse, Marcel , his father, Axel, and Jim left us and everything was back to regular daily, except for one thing missing: Jaden.

Chazz was sitting on Sy and Jaden's table, eating on his tempura shrimp, "Man, it is good to have a decent meal without those slackers ." 

Atticus said, "You shouldn't be that mad because Jaden isn't here, isn't?"

He scoff, "No! Why would I care if Jaden never comes back? I beaten him a long time ago."

Tyranno laughs at him as he said, "Uh, that's not entirely true, Chazz. From what I've seen, Jaden did beat you a bunch of times more I can count." 

I said, agreeing , "Yeah, Chazz, you didn't fully underestimate Jaden's dueling skills. I remember when he first won against you, he actually won but he didn't use his Reborn card from his graveyard in the match." 

Chazz's face suddenly grew red in total shock and embarrassment that he just learnt about it now and it causes everyone to laugh at his reaction.

"Jaden Yuki!!! You better come back so I can actually show you what real Dueling is about!" He yells in the Luncheon Dorm as I looking at my brother. 

As everyone was leaving to their dorms, I was left behind, mostly because I was actually thinking about the Dark Dimension that we came from.

It was our decision to go together to rescue Jesse, but it seems like it was much more than that to get it done.

Not only we been sent to the stars, from what Bastion told us when got back, that Jaden was a villain named the Supreme King and Jaden lost his way, fearing of the past he has caused.

"Oh, Jaden, I really wished that you are with us again.  I need you." I mumbled to myself.

Syrus

I didn't really interact with the others since Jaden's disappearance. I wished that I can have my best friend back.

I know that Jaden shouldn't be dead, because that he and the Supreme King is the same person.

"Oh, Jaden, why? Why did you do it? Leaving you behind is one of the hardest thing I had to do. I couldn't move on without you." I sighed, looking at the empty isolated Red Sifer Dorm and remembering all the things that we used to do when we're together.

I sat on the familiar tree where Jaden would sit when he was all to himself, thinking about all the new dueling tactics that would blow Duel Academy away.

I thought, "Jaden, I wished you were here."  

Suddenly, I see a meter went past the stars!

"Wow, it's a shooting Meter! I wish that Jaden is back to us ."

The Meteor came faster than I expected as it went towards the school yard in a fast pace and crash landed!

I was stunned by it as I knew I had to follow it as I possibly can. 

I ran towards it , unsure of what going to be from that Meteor, considering it might be a foe that Duel Academy would face again.

But as the fog decreases , it came out an familiar face that I haven't seen in a long time. 

Jaden

 As I looking at my location, I knew that I was back at Duel Academy, just like I knew I would be back, but how long I was gone?

I'm sure the gang is all right since I battled Yubel, but now her spirit is within me.

I hear a gasp as I turn around to see it was Syrus, wearing his Ra uniform, but he looks shocked and was about to cry.

"Hey, Sy! Is there any Shrimp Tempura left in the Sifer Luncheon Dorm? I'm starving!" I said to my best friend.

He couldn't bear it any longer as he runs towards me and he embraces me in a tight hug as I was in total shock of him doing so.

"Syrus?" I ask as he was still crying.

The young Duelist finally lets go of me as he rubbed his sleeves, then punches me on the shoulder hard!

"Ow! What was that for, Sy! That really hurts!" I exclaimed, rubbing the pain on my shoulder.

He said, "You really don't get it, Jad? It has been a year since we arrived back to this dimension, and suddenly you came back?

You had everyone worried , especially Alexis! She was so worried about you ever since then.

I ... I missed you, Jad."  

I couldn't believe the words that Sy was saying . Has it been a year since I fused my spirit with Yubel, and I didn't return until now?

"Syrus... has it been a year?" I ask as Winged Kuriboh looks at young Sy with sadness.

He said, "Yeah. It has been a year. Gosh, when the others find out you're back, they want answers... so do I."

As I follow the young Duelist back to the familiar dorm, I saw only one person that still hasn't left the room.

It was Alexis.

She was unhappy.

I knew that I have a lot to make up for, but how can I let them accept that I wouldn't be the same Jaden they knew?

"Alexis." I said as she looks up as if she was dreaming.

"J-Jaden?" She asks me with uncertain look.

"Hey, Lex." I said.

She punches me towards the ground as Syrus sweats.

"Well, that is Alexis for ya." He said. 

I got up as she runs away.
