Chapter 5: Remembering the Past

Jaden

As the others looking at me, I wasn't so sure of how they would react, if I told them about what happened in the Dark Dimension, where I lost my way.

Yubel knew that I was feeling queasy, but she said, "Jaden, you have to tell them what happened to us.

It would be easier for you and you need all the support you can get, so we can actually find out who is behind of all of this .... and perhaps save the world of Duel Monsters." 

I never thought about it that way, but it seems like Yubel does have a point. 

Alexis said, "Well, spill! I mean, we're not going anywhere." 

Atticus turns to his sister with curious, yet stern look, "Sis, you have to calm down! Jaden must been thinking a lot and it couldn't be easier for him to revisit the past." 

I said, reassuring the Duelist, "Atticus, I am grateful that you are trying to cheer me up, but it has to be my decision if I want to reveal the hidden truth. 

It happened after I saved Jesse from Yubel's possession, which was a tough battle I've ever faced. " 

Syrus said, "Yeah, I remember that. Wasn't Jesse's soul inside Yubel?"

Yubel and I exchanged looks at the memory, but I said, "Actually, his soul was within his Rainbow Dragon card." 

Everyone was silent for a moment, then said in unison, "What?!?"

Syrus said, amazed of the revelation, "I never thought of that! That could explain the darkness leaving on the Rainbow Dragon and causes Jesse to collapse when he got his soul back.

After that, you decided to duel Yubel on your own to send us back to our dimension." 

"Yeah... but you helped me a lot, Sy, and I'm grateful for that. You helped me get the confidence I needed in order to battle Yubel, by reminding me of the powers of the Supreme King.

Sure, I was afraid of loosing control of it, but then I remembered what Bastion told me. He and I were the same person, and I can't be feared of that part of me." 

Alexis asks, curiously, "So, what happened?"

I sighed, pulling back into a chair nearby, "Well, I learn something from Yubel. You see, there was a prince who was also the Supreme King. In a way, I'm the reincarnation of him."

 As I look at their eyes, they were stunned of how I learnt that Yubel and I did know each way back.

"J-Jaden?" We turn to see Casoria finally awoken from her sleep. 

"Hey, Cas. How you feeling?" I asked her with a curious tone.

She sat up, "Couldn't be more worse. Wait, why you still here in the Hospital Dorm?"

"We waited for you to awaken so Jad can explain his story. Since you're up, let's have him continue the story." Atticus explains. 

"Well, I can learn a lot from Jaden, so, I'm all ears." She said.

"So.. after Yubel shown you that, you decided to really go on your own. That's the last time Sy saw you in the Dark Dimension." Tyranno said, looking at Sy who looks sad , remembering it.

"So, I did have the battle with Yubel, and I knew that I have to make things right.

I used Super Polymerization." 

Everyone looks at me as I were insane.

"Jaden, Yubel could've used that card to control all twelve dimensions! Why would you used it like that?" Bastion asks, shocked.

Sy added, "Yeah, I mean, she kind of turned you into the Supreme King, turned every student into School Ghouls, possessed our friends just to go through to you."

I nodded, "Yeah, but she did it because she was all alone, Sy. I know she has good intentions for dueling, but just like I did, when I became the Supreme King, I lost my way." 

"Wait, what you saying?" Alexis asks.

Alexis 

I was stunned by hearing the story that Jaden was telling. I knew that I was sent to the stars, but I never thought of what happened to Jaden during his time in the Dark Dimension.

The way he's telling us, it sounds like he had changed, like Blair described, that he wasn't like the Jaden we knew.

"Wait, what you saying, Jaden?" I asked the young Sifer Duelist with a curious, yet concern expression.

He was silent for a moment, but then said, "Well, when I used Super Polymerization... our spirits were fused into one." 

Syrus and the others were in utter shock of the revelation, as Jaden remembers the day he fused his spirit with Yubel.

Casoria said, "Is that how you knew the new threat by Honest? With using the power you fused with Yubel?"

Jaden nods, "Yeah. That is how I get these powers from. When I got back to Duel Academy, I was afraid." 

Sy ask, "Afraid? Afraid of what, Jaden?"

"That you guys are going to not accept me as a friend anymore. I kept this hidden secret from you. 

I just don't want you to get involved and I could put all of you in danger." He said, as he turns away from us and left the room.

Sy said, "Wow. I never seen him act this way before. In top of that, why did he kept his fusion with Yubel a secret from us like that? 

We're still his friends after all!" 

I smacked the young Duelist, "Imagined how tough it was for Jaden. He thought it was right thing to do, and I believe it is ."

Atticus and the others were in disbelief of what I said. 

"What?" I asked, as they continue to stare at me.

 But then we noticed Casoria was nowhere to be found!

Casoria

I sneaked away from the others, mostly because of what I've done. Honest is the one who wanted to get all my new friends, especially Jaden in total danger and it's completely my responsibility to stop Honest's plan once and for all.

As I run, I knew that I had been followed. "I know you're out there. Come on out." 

I turn to see it was Jaden, who was stunned to see me up and look like going through trouble.

"Cas, what you doing? You're not thinking of trying to duel Honest, aren't you?" He ask me as I yelled, "What you expect?!?

Jaden, I'm the one that he's after! It's my fault that I involved any of you into my troubles. Just leave me alone!" 

Jaden tries to stop me as I continue running. "Casoria!" He yells at me.

I run as fast I could. Then I stopped. 

"All your friends has deserted you.  You are alone, and I can help you make you grow stronger."  

I said, curiously, "Who are you?"

"I'm known as more stronger than the Supreme King ever was. I am the Supreme Princess!" 

I was amazed as my eyes grew in dark yellow. "The Supreme Princess?"
