Chapter 3: Alexis's worry

Syrus

After we went to our practice battlefield, it was pretty weird of not having Jaden around . I know it has to do with happening when we arrived back from the Doom Dimension.

Alexis seems to look around for the young Duelist, hoping that he would show up from being in the Sifer Dorm for so long.

I said, "You really worried about Jaden, aren't you?"  It took her a while to accept that Jaden is truly back to Duel Academy after he mysteriously disappeared for a year, considering that maybe he will not be seen again.

"How you feel , Sy, knowing it would be different when you know the person so well?" She asks.

I rubbed my head in pure curiosity, "I really don't know, Alexis. Why you ask? You're starting to have feelings for Jaden, are you?"

Her eyes turned widen as I said it, like it was really embarrassing to admit the truth from our friends.

I said, "Whoa, I never thought that Alexis Rhodes would fall in love with my best friend! This is amazing!" 

She slaps me , "Don't you dare tell Atticus or the others about this, especially Jaden! He can't find out about this , not yet anyway." 

I rubbed the pain from her, "Ok, Ok! Geez, if you don't want me to say anything, I would keep it as a secret though." 

As we look at the Battlefield, I see Jaden along with a girl by his side.

"What is he doing?" I thought as I follow their lead towards the abandoned Dorm.

Casoria

I followed Jaden towards the abandoned Dorm. I ask, "Uh, Jaden? Are you sure that the evil presence is within the abandoned Dorm, where Atticus was Nightshroud?"

He seems scared at first, but nod, "Yeah, I think so. I mean, what can an evil presence can be located other than where the Shadow Riders first appeared?

I think there's more about the Shadow Riders than anyone could know of."

"Ok, even though your theory is right, how can we find out more? It's not like an evil person would appear out of nowhere in this place, is there?" I ask, but it seems that I spoke too soon, as a person appears and said, "Well, you must be stupid enough to go here."

"Casoria, you better step back." Jaden said, as I nod and run to a safer place.

"Jaden!" I hear a voice said, as Jaden looks at the direction of the voice as he was stunned of who it was.

"Syrus! What you doing here?" Jaden demanded , but he wasn't alone, Alexis, Atticus, Tyranno , and Aster was with him, completely shocked of us being in the Abandoned Dorm.

"You can come out." Jaden said calmly as a person appears to be a young boy, about the age of sixteen and looks at Jaden directly.

"I know that it has to be you. You wanted Duel Academy , why?" Jaden asks in anger tone.

"To get of all Duelists, that's why!" He snapped as the spirit came out.

"Honest." I gasp, remembering the card I've sent away as a little girl.

Jaden looks directly at me with confusion as I walk towards the spirit.

"Honest, what you doing, this isn't you!" I said.

Jaden asks, "Casoria, you know that spirit?"

"I do, Jaden. I was little then, Honest was one of my favorite cards I've summoned, but all my friends feared it was cursed.
