"Ugg no, this can't be true. MOM!" I was screaming down the hall and across the house during my search.
"Ok, Emily, calm down. It might not be stolen. You could have just misplaced it," my mom said trying to cool me.
I just can't calm down. I just lost my favorite fairy-tale book. Yes, I know, I have 1,009 without it but it was my favorite, and it's what makes me the owner of 1,010 books! I look and look. I search every corner. Yes, I may have read each of my books at least 20 times, but I really love that book. Right then my little sister, Ellie, came in holding her stuffed animal and a book. My book.
"Ellie! You have my book! Give it to me right now!" My little sister looked around my room then placed the book on the shelf I keep all my favorite books in.
Then she started talking so fast to explain before I yelled at her, "I'm so sorry, I really wanted to read the book and I could not help myself so I grabbed it and started reading. I ran when I heard you coming. I,"
"It's ok, Ellie, just say you're sorry," my mom cut in. I would never let Ellie off the hook like that but I would never fight with my mom either.
"I am so sorry," Ellie said starting to cry.
"No don't cry Ellie, please don't." As soon as I said that she wiped her tears, smiled and skipped out of the room.
I decided to sit down and read a book when my mom said, "oh pretty-pie," that's what she calls me when something I really like is about to happen, "I have something great to give you but before I do I want to say your great-grandmother died yesterday, and in her will she said to give you all of her fairy-tale books! Yep, oh and don't read them all at once."
When my mom was finished I was sad but excited all at once so I asked her, "When do they get here?"
"Right now," my mom answered, and pointed to three giant boxes, GIANT! I look around and picked a box then picked a book inside of it. I have never read all of her books so I was excited.
"The fairytale legends," I said aloud.
"Oh, creepy but awesome can I read," Ellie said standing at my door.
"You're creepy. There are other boxes and other books. Take whatever, just not off my shelf!" I yell at her to get out and I turn back to the book. I tried to open from the beginning but it opened to the fairy godmother legend.
'That's weird' I thought. I started reading. 'The fairy godmother legend goes back in time....' Then something weird happened, I fell asleep while reading.
