~Two Weeks After Double G's Funeral~

As Babe sits around on the couch at Game Shakers, she hears footsteps entering the building through the main lobby. A part of Babe wants to believe that maybe it was Double G. She wants to believe that maybe Dub's death was only a horrible nightmare that she has yet to wake up from, and that the person that's going to barge into the room any second now was going to be Double G himself, yelling and fooling around.

"Babe?" Kenzie asks as she sees a tired looking Babe located on the couch.

"Yeah, I'm here."

Kenzie leaves her stuff by the door and hurries over to her best friend. She plops down beside Babe and pulls her into a hug. "What's wrong?"

"Nothing unusual. Just, uh, casual memories of the one and only Double G! Heh..." Babe says nervously.

Kenzie furrows her eyebrows and tightens her grip, "I thought you didn't want to talk about that sensitive topic."

"I didn't want you to talk about him and you know, trigger a mental breakdown." Babe whispers.

"A mental breakdown?" Kenzie asks, her voice replicating a calm mother, "We're so backwards. Shouldn't I be the one worrying that way?"

Babe rolls her eyes, cuddling closer to Kenzie. Having Kenzie at her side without her always so quiet and awkward is just the thing she needs after a traumatic experience she's going through now.

Kenzie can't help but blush a little bit. It's a lot nicer not having to break down every few seconds, especially when her all-time crush needs her just as much as Kenzie needs Babe.

A few moments later, the girls hear another sound coming from the lobby.

"Oh my god..." Kenzie whispers as she's the first to turn her head.

"What? Why did you let go of me?" Babe asks, slightly disappointed. She looks towards the direction Kenzie's looking at to see what all the fuss is about. She half expects the person to be Hudson, but then again, Hudson stopped showing up to work the day after Trip left. Once again, a part in Babe wanted that person who just walked through the doorway to be Double G. But it's literally impossible. His funeral was two weeks ago. Another part in Babe wanted to believe that the person there is a finally sobered Triple G. But since when was she ever correct. Everything she's ever hoped can only come true if it for a miracle.

Babe rubs her eyes a bit, unable to recognize the person that was standing just by the doorway. Just like Kenzie, Babe reacts with the same reaction. The person standing there is the last person Babe would ever expect to be standing by that doorway.

"Oh. My. God."
