My Guardian Angel Chapter Six
I woke up and did my usual morning routine, although today I wore my silver heart locket. It provided a measure of comfort to me for some reason. Today I woke up determined to set things right with Derek. I felt horrible for judging him yesterday. I just accused him for sleeping with Sasha without letting him explain. And even if he did sleep with her, it would be none of my business. I don't even know the guy! He has no reason to tell me anything.
When I got to school I headed straight to homeroom. I sat at my desk hoping Derek would get here soon. I wanted to set things straight between us as soon as possible. Although I didn't have to wait long before Derek sauntered in. I immediately went up to him and said, "Hey, Derek I was wondering if I could talk to you for a second."
"About?" he asked in a dry tone.
"About yesterday I feel -"
"Wait a second, we should talk about this in private," he interrupted and I noticed the classroom started to fill. He grabbed my arm and dragged me to a janitor's closet around the corner from the classroom. Weird, one day here and he already knows where everything is. Once we were inside he let go of my arm leaned against the door with his arms folded across his chest.
"Derek. I'm so sorry I judged you so quickly yesterday. I knew nothing about you, but I was willing to judge you by what other people said. Besides, it's your business I shouldn't be butting myself into your personal life. I mean come on I don't even know you! And you obviously don't know enough about me to tell me about your life so -" I babbled until he put his finger on my lips.
"Has anyone ever told you that you babble when you're nervous?" He asked quietly with a small smile on his lips. I blushed lightly, actually I did know. "Anyways, I'm sorry for getting so angry. I mean if I were you I probably would've thought the exact same thing. So why don't we start over."
"Sure that would be great!" I exclaimed relieved.
"By the way, if you don't mind me asking where did you get that necklace?" Derek asked quietly while holding the locket in his hand. At this point he was so close I could feel the warmth radiating off of him.
"This may sound weird, but I honestly don't know. I can't remember who gave it to me, but I do know that this is one of the most precious things I own," I replied softly.
I saw Derek smiling widely, my breath caught in my throat. At that moment he looked gorgeous. His eyes shone a bright green color and you could see the happiness in them. His teeth were so white they were almost blinding and I couldn't help but smile back. I don't know what I said to make him feel so happy but I would do anything to see him like this over and over again.

Sorry guys! But, I'm like ridiculously lazy and I never find the time to write my story. This was sortof a filler chapter, but the next chapter will be longer and will show Derek's point of view :D
