I look in the man sized mirror for the tenth time. A sad girl, dressed in a black knee, length dress, with laced fabric for the shoulders, stared back at me. It's been two weeks since the incident. Two long weeks of grieving and morning the death of my brother.
In fact.. I have to say, Clarise was surprisingly, the least upset. You could tell it was a struggle but she was trying hard for her baby. We've all finally pulled ourselves together and today was Daniel's funeral.
I see Jayden walk over to me. He has some sort of frown on his face, but he tries hard to not let his emotions get ahold over him, although I think that he secretly blames himself for the death of my brother.
A week and a bit ago, Jayden had told me that Daniel died saving his life. When Jayden's back was turned, an extremely large and very powerful rogue was about to pounce on him, however Daniel had jumped forward to defend Jay. When Jayden turned around to help Daniel out, it was too late.
Jayden's arm wraps around my waist and he draws me into himself. I rest my head on his shoulder and let out a long sigh. "I miss him" I say not taking my eyes away from the mirror. I glance at Jayden's reflection and he catches my eyes.
"I know you do baby" he murmurs. "I do too" he admits looking down at the ground. I sigh sadly.
"I guess we better go. They're waiting for us" I look over my shoulder at the empty hall way. Jayden nods and takes my hand in his. He entwines our fingers and together we walk out the room.

I take a seat beside Jayden and look up at the front. The grey clouds covered the sky above us. The cemetery looked pretty much the same as it did in the movies. Dull and gloomy.
Looking at the stand in front of all of us, the priest stands behind it. Behind him was the closed, shiny black coffin in which my brother lay. It was covered in bunches of white roses and multicoloured flowers of different types.
The man cleared his throat catching all our attention. I feel myself stiffen. Someone takes hold of my hand. I look to my left and trail my eyes up his arm and too his face.
I look into Kyron's dark, clouded eyes. He smiles sadly and rubs his thumb over my palm. I feel myself relax slightly. I return the sad smile and look back up to the man.
"Welcome. Today we come to morn the death of Daniel James Jedson" he looked around to see if anyone wanted to say anything. I stood up and walked straight over to him.
"May I say something please?" I whisper. He nods.
"Of course" he holds my hands in his. I nod a thank you and he steps away to the side. I take a shaky breath I step forward. I lower the microphone slightly and look around at everyone. They all stare back sadly, with sympathy in their eyes.
I take another breath and begin my speech. In case you're wondering, no I hadn't prepared myself for this. All the words that are about to come out of my mouth are completely from the mind.
"For those who don't know who Daniel Jedson was, for those who never had the time to meet him for he was only with us here a short time... He was my brother. He wasn't just an ordinary brother, he was someone extraordinary. He was someone who played different but equally special rolls in all of our lives. To me he was my brother. The big brother that was always their to save the day" I smile at all the memories I had shared with him.
