Avery

My legs were non stop shaking. Kyron was quiet for several minutes, his eyes were fully white which meant he was concentrating really hard. "Daniel has four rogues around him" Kyron says tilting his head slight. My breath hitches in my throat.

"Hey guys what you all doing?" I hear Clarise's chirpy voice. I hold I finger up to her to tell her to shush.

"Your boyfriend's on the edge of death here!" I hiss. She gasps and sits down beside Katy to listen.

"He's doing ok" Kyron finally says. I sigh in relief. "Tyson just killed two rogues that were about to pounce on Jayden from behind. They're all doing great" he explains, his eyes still white. For a second, his eyes flicker back to their normal colour, but then back to White again.

"What was that?" I whisper.

"He's weak. Doing this kind of thing, it drains him, fast." Dylan explains. "He might be able to hold up for another five minutes at the most but then he will need rest" Dylan sighs.

"Ok" I nod. "We'll give him a couple more minutes and we'll stop him before he loses all of his energy" I answer. They all nod.

"David has been killed" Kyron says, his voice is still emotionless. It's like his soul isn't here right now, but out in the battle field. Only his voice and body remain here.

I gasp at the news.

"No, not David!" I cry, Katy hugs me tightly from the side. I rest my head on her shoulder.

"Jayden has just found David's body. He is outraged. He starts attacking rogues randomly, with more speed, strength and agility-" Kyron's eyes flicker back to normal and he closes them completely. I gasp and catch him before he falls. He is unconscious, he is weak and tired but he is completely fine. His pulse and heart rate tell me so.

Dylan helps me carry him to their tent and we lay him down softly. We walk back out and sit back down on the log. Katy is hugging Clarise tightly whilst they both cry their hearts out.

"I guess all we really can do now.. Is wait" I whisper looking down at the ground.

A few hours later, I hear Kyron wake. I run over to his tent and go straight in. I sit on Dylan's bed, beside Kyron. Kyron groans and rubs his forehead. He opens his eyes and stares at me. His eyes go wide.

"Avery I'm sorry- I didn't know I would pass out that quick-" he appologised. I cut him off.

"It's fine, really" I smile. He nods in appreciation. "But do you think.. D-do you think you could take just one glance now? I mean just long enough to see if the battle is still going and everyone is ok? That should only take less than a minute-"

"Yeah sure Avery. But first, how long have I been out?" He asks.

"About three to four hours" I answer quickly. He nods and closes his eyes. When he opens them, they are white.

"Kyron? What do you see?" I ask him.

"The battle is still going. Jayden is fighting the Alpha, but he is surrounded by at least twenty other rogues. Tyson and Daniel have his back though" Kyron says. His eyes flicker back to normal for a second, and in fear of Kyron passing out from exhaustion again, I shake his shoulders.

"Alright Kyron stop, you're out doing yourself again" I demand. Kyron's eyes close and when they open they are back to normal. He has a worried expression on his face. My smile drops. "Kyron what's the matter?" I ask.

"I- I don't know. I didn't see. But something is wrong" he says looking up at me. Worry surges through me. "B-but don't panic Avery, I'm sure everything will turn out fine" he says reassuringly and he hugs me.

I wrap my arms around his shoulders and hug him back.

"What if someone dies out there Kyron?" I whisper, panic rises inside me.

"No one will die" he says calmly. I nod.

"I sure hope not" please Gods! Let everyone be ok!
