The voices grew louder and louder until I finally woke up at 3:24 AM with my pillow wet on one side and my eyes stinging from the tears. I would get up and turn on the light, then walk back to my bed, I would wipe my eyes roughly, then sit down staring at my thighs.
See how fat you are?
Do it.
DO IT YOU FAT PIG!
I roll up my sweats revealing my scars and fresh cuts, I gently touch the cuts and scars on my thighs before getting up and walking quickly to the bathroom, closing the door quietly. I went on my knees to lift the vent that is in the corner of my bathroom, taking out a little box of razors, this is the only one that my mother doesn't know about. I would then pull out one of the many small razors, then rinse it to reduce the chance of infection, then I sliced my skin open over 24 times before dropping the blood filled razor, the blood would drip from my thighs and waist onto the bright coloured bathroom tile.
See Leah didn't that feel better?
Now clean up before someone sees you worthless pig!
I let out a sad sigh before putting the razor back into the box and hiding it in the vent, then I would clean myself and the ground up, I went back to bed sobbing quietly.
A few hours later after that I felt a cold hand touch my hip where the cuts were, I shot up in pain and looked who it is, I see my father staring at me angrily.
"Again Leah!"
I look down moving his hand from the cuts.
"This is why I hug Caitlyn more because I don't need to worry about hurting her when I hug her! That's why I love Caitlyn more, she doesn't HARM HERSELF. One of these days you'll bleed out, and trust me I won't care. "
He slapped me across the face hard before leaving my room. Then he mumbled "Idiot." I cover my face and feel my eyes sting from the tears.
