Chapter Five: Your Heaven was my Hell

We went back to the small ally. We walk for what feels like hours we stand outside of a huge building that appears to be leaning over us. We walk inside and go into this thing that takes us up. It makes a noise and the doors open and we step out walking down a long hall than turn the number on the door reads 1024. He unlocks it and we walk in. I walk over to a small window and look out. He pulls out a small item that lights up he places it too his ear

Kenji "heyyy! It's me Kenji... yeah listen I need you to come over... well we all know that you studied majikku's and the past. I have someone here for you.... Ok see you in a little" he put it onto the seat and walks over to me putting a hand on my shoulder. "We will figure this out" he smiles. This moment feels right like when I first realized my feelings for Sasuke. Am I starting to like this guy? "I know I can't protect you like your friends. But I'm going to try"

Kanae "listen if your trying to hit on me, slow down. I need a little time."

He pushes away and looks at me confused

Kenji "time? Did you just go through a break up?"

Kanae "yeah... he broke it off" I look away seeing the long scar on my arm. I didn't do it because of him. I just don't know how to handle anything. He grabs my arm.

Kenji "I guess you've had your fair share of battles."

Kanae "you can say that"

An hour later Kenji's friend shows up. A rather short, plump man with a shaved head green eyes.

Kenji "this is Kanae, and Kanae this is Surgo"

Surgo "hey!" He says waving two figures in the air.

Kanae "hey. So, I'm guess you're the guy with the answers."

Surgo "yeah let's sit down" we walk over and sit down in the living room. "So where should I start?"

Kanae "what do you know about the war that was supposed to happen over three thousand years ago."

Surgo "well it started with a dispute between humans and your people I'm guessing. Well it was over land, humans where expanding rapidly and Majikku didn't want to. They wanted everyone to learn the magical powers that had already been shared throw each generation. Talk of war quickly spread and in some areas, the war had already started"

Kanae "like what would consider the center of the earth, where the wall was created"

Surgo "not exactly... you see that island was used for experimental purposes, trying to put magic in to humans and so forth. It was rather grossly. But everything was done underground so you may be able to find something there. But anyways as war was starting to break out many tried to stop it, many also died from it until the creator of the wall did what they did, the only thing I don't understand is how they were able to keep it from falling."

Kanae "so that's what the island was for."

Surgo "wait why did you guys call me over?"

Kenji "Surgo look at her eyes" I looked at Kenji not realizing that he noticed how my eyes where different "it's ok Kanae, you can trust him, I've known Surgo all my life" I looked at Surgo who's eyes widened with surprise.

Surgo "I see, your one of them."

Kanae "don't worry I'm not going to hurt you."

Kanji "she's the one who destroyed the wall." Just than Sasuke flew in throw window breaking it I stood up quickly reaching my hand out, drawing my sword.
