Kanae Part Two: The World Together Again

Chapter Nine: War with a Friend

As we climb our way up a mountain we face a large building with a grand stair case that leads to it. Overhead are several dragons.

Tobi "are you sure you still want to do this?"

Kanae "well they can't kill me now. But things like this shouldn't exist. And I don't wanna fight forever."

Tobi "I see your reason." She chuckles.

As we near the top a voice comes from above.

Voice "hey!" we look up to see Sossory who is jumping down from a dragon."

Kanae "what are you doing here?!"

Sossory "I'm here to help." He smiles landing on the ground with ease.

Tobi "only if you're going to help and not get in the way."

Kanae "wait Tobi don't you know what he has done?"

Tobi "yeah I know he killed him. Kanae that was years ago, I would be on the same level as him if I didn't forgive."

Sossory "like I wanted to kill you."

Tobi "oh shut up I know you hated me for the longest time. How does it feel now that I'm alive again?"

Sossory "I must say, not the greatest." He frowns.

Kanae "okay, let's just get this over and done with."

Tobi "agreed"

We walked to the front door of this massive building. Looking around I see a symbol nearing the top of the building. On every side of us are trees, and small building. Stones with writing cover most of the land the surrounds the building. The dragons overhead still swarm the area.

Tobi "do you have an idea on how you want to do this?"

Kanae "no. I'm just going to break down the door and burn this place to the ground."

Sossory "that's not the smartest idea"

Kanae "and you have a better one?"

Sossory "no."

Tobi "so don't complain."

Kanae "this will be over in a matter of minutes anyways"

Sossory "I hope so."

Tobi "not like you had anything better to do."

We made it to the front doors and we all looked at each other before I placed my hand onto the large wooden door sending it ablaze. As it slowly burning we could see everyone inside. Staring back. Waiting for us to make a move. I could hear Tobi crack her knuckles. Sossory moaned doing a "cool" stretch. I watch the embers of the door fly around wildly until one person catches my eye. Minato. I look around and find Tatsuya. A man standing next to him with crazy white hair that spikes up in some area and in others is flat and straight. He is wearing robes made of gold and silk. His eyes a crimson blood color. Something starts to boil inside of me. My eyes violent change to the same crimson blood red. A wind storms around me blowing around the baggy pants I have in. My short black hair sways in and away from my face.

Tobi "Kanae?" she says but I say nothing back.

I walk throw the burning door way.

Tobi "Kanae what the hell are you doing?"

I don't say anything and continue to walk to the man.

Man "can I help you?" I don't say anything. "do you need help with something miss?"
