Readers POV:
Mac sobs while holding the hand of Ariana's lifeless body.
Suddenly Alexa walks into the room with five cups of coffee "Your girl with a gourmet palate brings the not so gourmet hospital coffee." She says while handing Mac, Joan, Frankie and Sarah each one.
They all look like they haven't slept in years, all have red eyes obviously from crying.
After Alexa sat down there's that silence again. Only the beeping of the machine that's keeping Ariana alive.
She's having not only these machines but also injections in her arm and a bandage around her head.

"Do they know?" Joan asks Alexa, who nods:"Yeah, I told Scooter some hours ago but he said he will need some time to get here. Maybe even some days."  Joan nods and takes a sip of her coffee, not wanting to get too much into this conversation.

"We can't just sit here and wait 24/7" Frankie says and wipes some tears out of his eyes.
"What do you expect us to do? Live or life's just normally as if my daughter was not laying here in a coma?!" Joan bursts out in tears again so Frankie takes her in his arms.
Alexa looks over to Mac and has to smile sadly as she sees him playing with her hair and holding her hand. He really changed since she had a surgery and fell into the coma, what was about two weeks ago.
He is even allowed to sleep in bed with her. But all of this is making him go crazy. He thinks that she is talking to him and said that he knows about the dreams she's having. It's just too much for him.
Alexa rolls over with her chair and places a hand on his shoulder "How's she today?"
"She is feeling ok. She just had a nightmare. The rest is like yesterday." He says without looking up from Ari.
"That's good" Alexa pats his back one time before rolling away again with her chair and talks with Sarah.

A doctor stands in front of Ari's bed and checks her stats. He looks around, into every sad face and sighs "I know this is really hard for you but... we still have to talk about something." Nobody asks him about what so he just says it on his own "What about the babies?" Mac looks at the doctor quickly as he continues "Just in the case, if she's really not doing it... and if she's dying what we highly doubt. We have to talk about, if we will try to rescue the babies out of her womb or... not?"
Mac opens his mouth but before he can say something, Joan interrupts him:"Of course rescue them..!"
But Mac shakes his head "I won't ever be able to look at them without thinking about Ariana then.... if she's really not doing it.." he swallows hard "The babies aren't doing it either"
Joan tries to persuade him that it's better to rescue the babies but he's too stubborn.
