*1 month later*

Readers POV:

Ariana is now about 4 months pregnant. It's already showing pretty much. The only sad thing is that she can't see it.
Edward has left again already and Alexa had to go too. Frankie had some problems with stuff at his home and had to leave too.
So now it's only Mac and Joan left with Ari.
"Do you wanna talk about it?" Joan asks making Mac wonder:"About what?"
Joan clears her throat:"I mean, she's talking to you... you know that's not normal."
Mac looks up and shrugs "Hm"
Joan sighs:"Just know that you can always tell me everything. I'm like your second mom"
Mac just nods after staring at Ari again

Mac is laying in the bed next to Ariana and strokes her cheek with one hand while the other one is rubbing her stomach.
As he suddenly feels her cheek twitch he looks up while sitting up too.
"A-ari?" He asks with a shaky voice.
It's pretty dark in the room but he can still see her eyelids move slightly. The machine starts beeping a little faster making Mac look at it. He's totally overwhelmed, is only able to push the emergency button and as he looks at ariana again, her eyes are open.
He smiles with tears in his eyes, he sobs and hugs her tightly, but she jumps back.
Mac pulls back again "I-I'm sorry did I hurt you?"
Ari moves her lips slowly, trying to say something.
"What is it? Do you need water?" Mac quickly grabs a glass of water and hands it to her but she doesn't want it. Joan woke up and quickly runs over to Ari "How are you feeling babydoll?"
Everything seems to go through Ariana, she looks at Mac and Joan scared and asks tiredly:"Who... are you?"
Mac looks a little shocked at her and doesn't know what to say when suddenly a doctor rushes in.
Mac explains the situation to him.
Ariana won't even let him hold her hand.
"What's wrong? Why doesn't she remember us?" Joan asks with tears in her eyes.
The doctor explains:"She most likely has a lack of memory and won't remember anything. Her memory will come back after time. Just don't rush it and tell her all kind of stories. She needs a lot of time and understanding"
"What If she won't remember us at all?" Mac asks.
"She will... she just needs time. You can also tell her little things like: You're Ariana and you where in a coma. Just don't tell her long stories from her life."
Mac and Joan nod before turning to Ariana again, who looks around confused "What's going on? Who are these people, doctor?" She asks a little scared.
"You where in a coma... you can't remember anything, right?" Joan asks, making Ari nod:"Who are you?"
"I'm your mother, Joan"
The doctor has to interrupt them:"I would like to check her brain now. Then I can tell you more..."
