Readers POV:
As Ari hops down the stairs, it recalls bad memories in Mac. He yells:"Baby be careful!" And runs over to her.
She opens her arms and lets herself fall into Macs open arms, giggling.
Mac doesn't seem to find it that funny or cute "Don't hop down the stairs like that..."
He holds her really tight and buries his face into her shoulder "I don't wanna lose you again" He looks up again to carry her to the couch "I'm sorry, I was really happy and just in the mood to hop downstairs" Ari kisses his cheek "I'll be more careful next time I promise"
Mac sits down on the couch still holding Ariana "It's alright, I was just scared..." He rubs her back and smiles a little.
"I love you babu" Ariana kisses him and puts her head on his shoulder.
"Wait you just called me babu..." Mac squeezes her a little while readjusting himself.
"Um... so?" Ari chuckles and draws patterns into his neck with her finger.
"That's what you used to call me. Not baby, but babu." Mac seems really excited about this.
"Well, thats great babu" Ariana smiles tiredly.
Mac laughs slightly:"Do you wanna go to bed early today?"
She nods, making him stand up again and carrying Ari to the bedroom.
As they arrive she's already sleeping like a baby in his arms and slightly drooling on his shoulder.
He sits down on the bed and tries to lay down still with Ari in his arms, not wanting to wake her. He succeeds and pulls the blanket over them. Mac just can't get over how cute Ariana is, as he runs his fingers through her hair and smiles. He softly kisses her head and whispers "Goodnight baby" before he closes his eyes too.
A/N:This is really short sorry. Next chapter will be way longer. Just, school starts again and I'm pretty busy.
