Readers POV:
As Scooter walks into the room, he gets sad stares from everyone. He looks at Ari and then Mac. "God" He breathes out "How's she doing?"
"Her stats won't stabilize fast enough but she's made some progress" Alexa explains.
"And how are the babies?" Scoot asks.
"They're alright..." Mac says.
Scooter walks over to him and pats his back:"I'm really sorry..."
"It's ok. I cried it out. I'm alright."
Scooter nods and sits down next to him:"What are we gonna tell her fans?"
"Um... the truth! What where you thinking?"
"Well, we could make it sound less dramatic so they don't worry too much. She will get a lot of attention then, and paparazzi will try to get pics of everything..."
"Alright then. How can it sound less dramatic?"
"We could say that she just needed surgery and has to stay in the hospital for a long time for checks and all that. You know?"
Mac nods slowly:"Ok."
"You just have to, maybe post a selfie with her or something. So they believe that it's not that bad. You can snap a pic of her and be like, she's sleeping or something"
Mac nods again and pulls his phone out to take a pic of Ari
"It feels wrong..." He says as he selects it on instagram.
"I know, but it isn't... trust me." Scooter tells him what to caption under the pic before he posts it.
Just seconds later he gets comments, asking if she was alright and getting a lot of sympathy.
Suddenly a doctor walks in to do her daily check ups. "She seems to recover really quickly now... her stats are way better than yesterday. I'd just like to check on the babies if that's alright."

As the doctor takes an ultrasound of the babies, Mac seems pretty nervous. He keeps asking if everything is alright. It's annoying the doctor slightly but he tries not to show it that much "They're all good. And I've found out the genders. Do you want to know?"
Mac gulps and looks at Ari as if she would answer, before he says:"No we wanted it to be a surprise..."
