~ The ShadowSong series is entirely dedicated to 46Kibahime, who is the sole reason I started writing this, and continues to inspire the heck out of me both with her amazing art and her own fantastic writing <3 She's the best trampoline around, and I'm just incredibly lucky to have her as a friend ~

SO HEY LOOK GUYS, ANOTHER BOOK (Technically two but shh details) IS DONE <3

.... you guys absolutely destroyed those vote goals, like, ???

It was my first time actually writing a sequel to a book, so here's hoping that I did a decent job of it <3 For anyone who missed the memo, book 2 of ShadowSong started at chapter 39 and I just kept going with the chapter numbers and kept posting it to the same work because... reasons? I dunno. I really don't have a valid excuse but HERE WE ARE~ 

Honestly, I'm in love with ShadowSong and its characters and its world <3 What started off as a 'I'm gonna write something inspired by Miraculous that is light, fun, and probably going to be filled with plot holes and inconsistencies' while I waited for Indigo edits to actually have something happen a h h h h bane of my existence right now. 

.... Of course, you all know me by now: my stories get a flippin' life of their own and they get WAY BIGGER THAN PREVIOUSLY ANTICIPATED AHHHHH. So yeah, the thing that was supposed to be just a villain-of-the-week book with funny situations turned into this monstrosity. h e l p. 

I really can't say I'm in any way disappointed by this ^_^

So, from the original plan in the beginning: Olivia's turned into a far more complex character than previously anticipated, Jason's situation with his mother was entirely unplanned, Ella who was supposed to be an easter-egg character turned into ONE OF THE MOST FREAKIN' IMPORTANT CHARACTERS IN THE BOOK, and then just AHHHHH. 

Personally I blame 46Kibahime and her ridiculous amounts of inspiration and amazing designs. 

Regardless~ I hope you guys all enjoyed the ride so far, and I hope you'll stick around and join me for book three ;D

Book three will be going ahead asap~ 

It will be posted as an entirely new work, titled 'ShadowSong: Book 3' with a shiny new cover ;D I'll post another part to this work when book three goes live so you guys get a notification ^_^ 

That said, I'm probably going to take a week or two off posting before I start posting book 3. I've been doing A LOT of work on the world building and the backstory with the specifics of it because things are gonna get real. I wanna make sure everything is as set as it can possibly be before I dive into book three, whiiiich I'm pretty excited for ;D
