Thanatos

He is the son of Nyx and Erebos.

Unlike many who think of him as violent or a malevolent being, he provides many with a gentle death. He has many siblings, especially the Keres, who deal out a harsher hand of painful misery while dying.

Overshadowed by Hades in some legends, this gentle giant is quite well off in the mortal world. He works as a coroner. Death investigating death....

Swift and silent, he stays out of normal affairs, mortal or immortal. He only deals with his business and anyone who butts into his can expect a slow and violent death from one of his sisters. He doesn't talk much, only shrugs or mutters a single or even double worded reply.

Suits. Suits. And more suits. Who said Death had to dress like a common man?

He is friends with Josie, and knows exactly who she is. He knows who everyone is...but he stays out of it. It's not out of spite, but because death only comes when it's necessary, he doesn't cause unneeded strife or pain. He chose to come to earth and live out whatever time he considers enough to see how mortals have lived since his last visit centuries ago.

His name is Thanatos, simply that. Because Death does not lie.
