I got back inside and sat next to jack and reese. They were hugging eachother. Jonah was across on the other couch on his phone. He seemed pretty ticked off. I sat there and just kinda tapped my nails.

"Hey buddy!" Zach came over and sat. "You ok?" He asked. "Yea I'm fine" I sighed. "What's wrong". "It's Jonah" I whispered. "Oh I see it's complicated". I nodded. "Let me cheer you up" he hugged me. I hugged him back all though we were just friends. I loved zach. He was just so sweet and amazing. He was like my little brother I never had.

Jonah didn't talk to me for a little but zach and corbyn kept me company. While us three were talking jack and reese were kissing. But oh well it's New Years.

Jonah watched them I noticed. Everyone seemed so jealous. It was killing me.

"Hey" I heard while I was on the couch. I turned around and saw Daniel. "Hey Daniel". "Listen can. We talk?" He asked. "I guess". I quickly looked over at Jonah. He saw me. He rolled his eyes and looked down. I slowly got up and fallowed Daniel. This was awkward.

"So listen I know it was wrong for me to put you on the spot last night" he said. "It's fine don't worry". "I just couldn't lie to you, I had no guts to say this but I really like you and I know we barley know eachother but I just have a feeling inside me like it's right and...". Then I heard the door open from the porch. Jonah came out and stood next to me. all the sudden he acted as if nothing was wrong.

"Jonah what are you..". "Daniel your my best friend but for once can you just back off?" Jonah said. "Jonah stop" I said. "No I can't let him just take you away". "He's right" Daniel said. "Are you serious?" I turned to Jonah. "What?" He asked. Daniel went back inside giving us some space.

"Jonah you act like I'm the worst person in the world and then come back and try to ruin friendships?". "Because he's clearly into you". "I don't care but right now it seems like your not". "I just want him to back off". "You know what I want? I want for you to back off also". "Wait" Jonah said. I started to walk away. "Good bye Jonah Thanks for everything". I took off my necklace. I threw it on the ground.

I had enough. My New Years was supposed to be right. Instead it was my last day of seeing why don't we.
