Chapter 1

I remember the first day I met Fey.

I remember walking up to her my first day at her school.

I had just moved from Washington to this small town in Alaska.

It was my freshmen year.

She captivated me with her smile. She was laughing.

God I loved her laugh.

I became friends with this girl that always smiled.

The girl that wore confidence.

The best thing a woman can wear.

I asked her what classes she had, turns out we had all of them together. Who'd imagine.

She told me her name was actually Jordan but she would rather go by Fey, her middle name.

I joked with her that day, calling her Jordan just to mess with her.

I heard things about Fey, but they weren't negative.

People told me she was the friendliest girl in school.

We became fast friends. I thought that befriending the nicest girl in school would help me in the long run.

She always seemed open and just generally happy.

No care in the world.

She talked with her teachers as if they were old friends, I found it odd.

I began developing a small crush on her.

I began to notice the way she would always look for the positive in everyone and everything.

I loved her confidence and creativity. The way she would always give out small compliments, and all though small in comparison, they made someones day each time.

I learned her ways of thinking, that without the bad things then we wouldn't be able to tell what the good things in life are.

She taught me there's no point in making enemies, we are all part of the same world and should enjoy our time while we have it.

I remember finding out we were neighbors. It was a funny little time.

Her parents invited mine over to dinner.

When We opened her door she laughed and pulled me inside. We played soccer in her back yard. She laughed at everything, finding joy in the small things.

Her personality was something you rarely found in people.

It was energetic and happy.

She was goofy and adorable.

She was smart and kind.

The ordeal kind of girl.

I realized how lucky I was to find a girl like her, but sadly I was too late.

(Hello! This is my first story I've written that's not fanfiction and its a little different than what Im used to writing.

So if your confused im going to clarify what Im implying in the story.

So basically A boy, who I'll reveal the name of later, is reminiscing about Fey and he's like talking about how she was before he made a mistake and ruined her. This is a short story and the chapters are meant to be super short fyI.

So ya it's really terrible but cut me some slack my writing isn't powerful for shit.

Anyways Still read and comment what you think I should change or what you like about it.
