You hated your old school and you begged your sister to put you in a new one. (Your parents passed away in a car crash.) She finally agreed. That's when she told you that she was getting a new job in LA. You were very excited because you have always wanted to live there. You were always a lone wolf at your current school and had no problem leaving because you didn't have any friends.

Alex POV:
We finally arrived at LAX and we had packed all of our things in a moving truck and had them sent to our apartment. We eventually got to our new place and unpacked everything. That took three days. I had a week before I started school at Hemisphere High. I was a little nervous that it was going to be like my old school and I was going to be bullied and have no friends. My sister told me not to worry so I tried my best not to.
The week went by very fast and before I knew it, I was walking up to the doors of my new school. My sister dropped me off and I walked to the front desk to get signed in and everything. The principal, Mrs. Jordan, is really nice! She walked me to my first class and gave me my schedule and a map of the school. When we got to my first class, Mrs. Jordan told Mr. Moros, my bio teacher, that I was new. "Welcome." He said to me. "Class, this is our new student." He said as he turned to the class. "Why don't you introduce yourself and tell us three things about you." "Ok." I said. I was a shy person normally so this would not be easy. "Hi, I'm Alex. I-I moved here f-from Mississippi. I have a sister w-who is out of college, and I have a greyhound puppy n-named Charlie." I shuddered out nervously. "Very nice! Well, I hope you enjoy it here at Hemisphere High! You may pick any seat that you like." There were lots of empty seats. I looked around the room to find a good one. I found one in the back next to a very cute boy who was staring at me almost like he wanted me to sit next to him. So I did.
I sat down and set my things on the floor next to me. I put my head down and waited for class to begin. "Hey new girl. I'm Jonathan." I hear. I look to my side to see that the cute boy was talking to me with a very adorable smile. "Hi. I'm Alex." I said smiling sweetly back at him. "Do you know your way around yet?" Jonathan asked. "No, I am still trying to figure out whether I am upstairs or downstairs." I said laughing. He laughed too. "Oh, well can I show you around then?" "Yeah. I would like that." I said. "Cool. Can I see your schedule?" "Yeah." I pulled it out of my backpack and handed it to him. "Oh sweet, we have like 5 classes together!" Jonathan exclaimed. I giggled. "Awesome!"
The rest of class went on, then the bell rang. We all got up and Jonathan waited for me. I picked up my things and we walked to class. As we walked in the hallway, someone ran in to me. "Watch it, bitch!" The blonde said. "Oh I'm sorry. I didn't see you." I said to her. I looked at Jonathan. "Are you ok?" He asked. "Yeah, I'm fine. What's her deal?" "Oh, that's Amber. She thinks she's all that. She really isn't. Don't worry about her." He explains. "Is she a Junior?" "Yeah." "Wow. She's rude." "I know, right? Oh we're here." Jonathan said as we arrived at the classroom. "Let's go in." I said with a smile on my face.
I sat next to Jonathan because he offered. It felt nice that I actually had someone to talk to. We sat next to each other in the rest of my classes too. I got some harsh glances from a few of the girls, but I tried to ignore them. Finally the final bell rang, signaling the end of the school day. The day was long, but I'm really glad that I came to Hemisphere High.
