[Chapter 9: fake dates, real love?]

"Excuse me... what?" I must've misheard adam. "Fake dates. I saw damiell with jailyn recently. At Olive garden. They have lunch together. Like, everyday. They were acting all sweet and gross. So, you should go to Olive Garden with ross and have fake dates. Well unless you want to have real ones." I blushed at his statement. He smirks seeing me heat up. He chuckles. "So... you goin on a date with that sloth or not?"

"F-f-fine!" "Excellent! Now I already told ross. So, at lunch maybe..... you should go with ross to olive garden and act sweet and stuff." My face heated up much more. "Apple." He said before leaving my office. I thought he hated saying apple because of barney. I grabbed my ipad and opened the camera and saw I really was as red as an apple. Urgh... I grabbed my water bottle then started to drink so i could cool down.

Lunch time. I put my make up on. I fixed my hair and got my purse, phone and wallet. I got out of my office to see ross approaching me. "Hey... uh... y/n... ready to go?" He asked. "Yeah." I replied. He offered his hand the way he did before. I smiled at his action. I took his hand. Our hands were now intertwined. We went out of the offices and got into ross' car. He started the car then we drove away.

We arrived at olive garden. We opened the door, went inside and sat on a table for two. I searched the whole restaurant as the waitress gives us our breadsticks. I saw damiell and jailyn on a table a few feet away from our table. They were acting all sweet and gross just like what adam said. Damiell kissed her forehead the way he kissed mine before. I put my hand on my forehead, assuming i was the one he kissed on the forehead. I held my tears as damiell grabbed a breadstick then fed it to jailyn.

"You okay?" Ross asked.

"Y-yeah..."

"Breadstick?" He said as he grabbed a breadstick. I looked at him and he held the breadstick just like how damiell did before.

I smiled then ate the breadstick.

"Delicious, right?" He chuckled. I giggled. "Yeah..."

At the corner of my eye I see damiell, looking. I smile. Then I fed ross a breadstick. We both laughed. I looked at their table. He looked away. "Ross, imma go to their table and pretend I just saw them." "Okay, i'll just be here eating breadsticks." I smiled as he smiles back. I walked towards their table. "Dami! What a coincidence! Oh hello, jailyn!" "Hi, y/n!" Jailyn happily said. "Hi, it is indeed a coincidence." He faked a smile. Through his eyes, I saw how he feels. The break up came inside my mind again. I remembered how he said he loves me so much but he had to leave me. "Having lunch with your boyfriend, I see..." Damiell said. "Oh, yeah. I saw you guys and decided to come and talk to you for a bit. How are you guys?" I faked a smile as well. "Okay, as always. How about you and... ross...?" "Amazing...! Oh, I gotta go back to our table, bye guys!" I walked towards our table and my fake smile faded. "What did he say?" "What a normal person says. The order's not here yet? I'm hungry." "It will arrive in... five... four... three.... two... one!" And then the waitress arrives. "Here's your order ma'am. Sir." The waitress then leaves. "Wh...? Ho....? Are you...? What the..." Speechless, I sat down and ate another breadstick.

We ate a lot and fought over who should pay the bill. This made damiell stare a lot more.

We went out and continued laughing and telling stories. We were walking slow since we were laughing so hard and we were focused on telling stories.
