I return to the apartment that Maja and I are sharing for the time being. She's asleep. She doesn't care about being properly clothed around me even though I'm the opposite gender and she's naked from the waist up. I don't focus on her and get out of my armor and take off my weapons.

"Where the hell have you been?" She asks.

Of course, as soon as I entered the room she woke up even if she pretended to still be asleep. She is the lightest sleeper I've ever met. No matter how silent you are as soon as you move an inch she's awake.

"Have you heard of being properly dressed?" I reply.

"Yes and I don't give a damn, you're not that type of person. Where have you been?" Maja asks again.

"I've been watching Sung," I reply.

"No you haven't been, you've been watching the mansion but not Sung," she replies simply.

"Have you been watching me watch the mansion?" I ask.

"Nope, I just know," she replies with a smile. "So what have you been doing?"

"Sung's wife is my best friend. She hates him and she isn't happy at all," I reply.

"You're not making contact with her are you?"

"We coincidentally ran into each other," I say. "I can't leave her there like that. Also is there a way to kill a baby while it's still in the mother?"

"Yes, there is," Maja replies. "It appears to be a miscarriage. Why?"

"Mali's pregnant, she doesn't want to have his child," I reply.

"I don't blame her, he's disgusting," Maja says.

"Also, there has to be a way to get her out of there right? Something we can do?" I ask.

"No, you're free, you don't have a mission or orders but I do. You can do what you want, I have to follow my orders and if your actions impede my orders then I will stand in your way."

"Fine, can you at least tell me what can give Mali a miscarriage or make it look like one or whatever?"

"I can get some for you to give her," Maja says. "Against my better judgment. So what are you going to do now that you're a Guard? Become an Assassin?"

"I'm not becoming an Assassin Maja," I reply with a sigh. "The plan was to raise ranks and change the world. We're all equal, Zeros aren't any less than Firsts or Thirds."

"Keep dreaming Zero," Maja laughs. "You're never getting the world to see things that way. The world needs this division. There has to be an upper class, middle class and lower class. The world can't function without these groups."

"Yes, the world can."

"Tell me, if you overthrew the Thirds and Zeros were the new Thirds then wouldn't you put Thirds where you were? Revenge for all the pain they put you through. They don't deserve to stay as they were before you got equality they need punishment in some way. So Zeros are now Thirds and Thirds are now Zeros. There's still the division. Parties have just changed places. There is always going to be those three parties. Zeros and Firsts are both the lower class, Firsts are just a little bit better off, Seconds are the middle class and Thirds are the upper class."

I don't reply right away because I realize that she's right.

"I didn't think that far ahead. But Zeros wouldn't repeat what happened to us, we'd make Torzin and Torwin better. Protection, proper food and heating. Unlike Thirds that don't give a damn."
