I know it has been a long time since I've updated. So I decided to make it up to you, readers. This chapter is nearly 5 times longer than my regular ones. I'll try to update more often, but life it busy. I'm so thankful for all of you who wouldn't let me forget about this story, and I hope none of you have given up on me yet. Enjoy!

When Nico opened his eyes he was floating in darkness. There was a slight chill in the air which seemed to be heavier than normal. It reminded Nico of the shadow realm. The Avengers were floating near him, all vertical like he was. Natasha and Bruce had their eyes open and as Nico watched Tony, Steve, Clint and Thor all open their eyes as well. The second Thor, who was the last one to wake, opened his eyes, misty images and videos appeared, surrounding them. Some Nico recognized from his own memories others from the little video footage he had seen of the battle of Manhattan, but most were unfamiliar to him.

"Where are we?", Clint asked twisting his body to spin around looking at all the scenes.

"The hell if I know", Tony said.

"Hey watch you language" Steve reprimanded.

"Well Captain", Tony said sarcasm dripping of his words,"What are these images? How are here? Why are we here?"

"I think" Nico said slowly, "I think these are memories".

"So if these are memorie then what are we supposed to do", Bruce asked somehow managing to take whip his glasses with his shirt while floating in empty space.

"I have a feeling we're about to find out", Natasha said as she pointed to one of the memories which was flying towards them and growing larger, soon enough it had swallowed them whole.

When Nico opened his eyes once again he, and the rest of the Avengers, were floating in a circular room covered in gold. They themselves were pale and transparent, like ghosts Nico thought. In the center of the golden room on a circular platform stood a man with an eyepatch and a beard holding a staff that was glowing with light. Three men stood below the one on the platform. One in golden armour to match the golden room, a younger man with long black hair with green robes and gold armour, and a man who was slightly older than the black haired man but considerable younger than the other two. He had blond hair and silver armour with a red cape.

"Thor", said Nico turning to look at him, "this is your memory".

"Yes, but not a pleasant one, one of the worst actually," Thor said. He looked around the room sadly and seemed to be looking anywhere but the four figures. Nico turned back to watch the scene that had enraptured the rest of the Avengers.

"You are a vain cruel greed boy!" The man on the platform yells down the the warrior in silver, Thor.

"And you are and old man and a fool", Thor shouts back, face red with anger.

"Yes", the old man says quietly head bowing with sorrow, "I was a fool to think you ready". The youngest one, the one in green steps forward

"Father", he says pleadingly but before he can get another word out the old man above him shouts out to silence him. The man in green cowers back afraid the older's wrath.

"Thor Odinson", the olderman says once again addressing the blond in silver, "You have betrayed the expressed orders of your king. Through your arrogance and stupidity you have opened these  peaceful realms and innocent lives to the horrors and desolations of war." He slams his scepter down into the center of the platform. Lightning bolts shoot forth out of the spear, cracking with anger. The olderman descends the platform and strides towards Thor.  He reaches out stripping the warrior of his armor as he says, " You are unworthy of these realms. You are unworthy of your title. You are unworthy!" he screams out, "of the loved ones you have betrayed" he finishes softly. The Thor in the memory looks desperately to the warrior in green. But he receives only sadness and sympathy, the other warrior too scared to intervene. The olderman lets one last look of sorrow cross his face before striding away saying, "I now take from you your power", Thor's hammer flies from his grip into the older man's, "In the name of my father and his father before", Thor's armour literally falls of his body and onto the floor as his is stripped of not only his status as Prince of Asgard but also his Asgardian powers, " I Odin Allfather cast you out!" the old man, Odin, yells out and Thor is thrown into a glowing tunnel of light.
