Airbus created their second aircraft. This aircraft was Called the Airbus A300B10 (or A310). Also, you can tell by it's original name that this aircraft was developed from the A300. This aircraft is a medium to long range aircraft. It was also twin engine. The speed of this aircraft is also mach 0.73 (but around 901 km/h) which is faster than the Airbus A300 by 4 kilometers. This aircraft was also a two class configuration (Bus and Eco) but sat 220 people instead of 266 people. The two launch customers of this aircraft were Swiss air and Lufthansa.
The primary users of the A310 are Air transat, Mahan Air, and Fedex Express.
