Miranda
It was Caitlyn, of coarse it was Caitlyn. I don't really know what it was about the cursed creation that was Caitlyn but it was her. I almost remeber the exact words.
"I am leaving," I know I wasen't there when she said it and Jacob didn't exactly tell me what she said, but inwardly, I know!
"Hey guys, um, I hope it's okay , but I kinda brought a friend,". Was the first thing that came out of her mouth. The second words that she uttered were:
"Katelynn, come out," and another one apperared!
"So now I guess we have two more mouths to feed!!" I yelled as I turned around and stomped away. I heard the small muffled voices of the three talking with each other and I knew they were gossiping about me. I ran all the back to camp.
When I arrived I found that the camp was desoloete.
"Well I guess I will have time to think,"
Accecpt I didn't think about Caitlyn and her friend, I thought about how empty the camp looked and that something was very diffrent, and very wrong. I looked around the camp fire and saw footprints that led east, twoard the closest town.
"Maybe that is just the way Kyler and Kalyn went to go look for wood," I thought aloud as a cluster of anxious nerves started to slowy knot my stomach. I got up and looked inside Kalyn's small one man tent, and what I saw suprised me.
Nothing.
"Now why would she leave her tent?" Was the first thing that strutted itself across the mind. The second was proably more logical.
"Why did she leave?" I looked inside Kyler's tent and saw that all of her belongings were still there, and unusally neat.
"Jacob, Jacob!" I screamed as I ran back to warn him that Kalyn had left, and that we were in big trouble.
"JACOB," I screamed at the top of my lungs. My heart best fast and my cheat heaved in sync with my footsteps. Different thoughts crashed around in my brain.
"She's already told someone,"
"Maybe she didn't make it and got killed or something,"
"I wonder if kyler is dead too,"
That thought stopped me.
"Neither of them are dead, but where is kyler," I thought to myself as I tried to catch my breath. Her stuff was in her tent, but wouldn't she try to stop Kalyn? I shook the situation away, because I needed to focus on the task at hand, getting to Jacob and telling him that his sister had gone to tell someone where we were. I screamed his name once more and started running.
It didn't take long before I caught up to the group and saw that they were almost packed up and come to our camp.
"Jacob," I sputtered, "something has happened," I plopped my self down on a log that was a couple of feet away from where I was standing, and looked up too see Jacob above me.
"What do you mean something has happened?" He almost yelled at me. I stood up quickly, and started defending myself before I fell right back down with black spots in my eyes. Jacob sat next to me and squeezed my arm unpleasantly.
"Tell me what happened," I looked at him and saw his face was red and his eyes were shifting from me to Caitlyn and her friend.
"Your sister left okay! She's gone she took everything but her tent and left towards the east, toward the nearest town!" I stared at him and his shocked face and suppressed a little giggle.
"She's really gone?" He asked.
"Well, unless she decide to take all of her stuff stick hunting with her close to the supermarket at the edge of town, then yes she is gone,"
"We have to go find her, I-I mean, we can't let her get away with this, the little brat! I knew she would do this to us!!!" He started murmuring to himself, as he stood up and paced back and forth.
"Miranda, will you help us take this stuff back, once these two are settled in all of us can go looking for her," I agreed and we packed the stuff as quick as we could.
