Its been a long day and you can't wait to get home. You remember your brothers friend is over to do some building work, and he is pretty hot. You look down at your jeans and outfit and think 'oh for I look awful!' Your hair is in a messy bun your dressed in skinny jeans and a baggy tee. You walk into your house and there he is, you think his name is Tom, but your not sure. You smile and he smiles back, it's all pretty awkward. You sit in the your bedroom and listen to your favourite band the wanteds CD! Your finally relaxed. But you hear a call from your brother! "Hey sis I'm going out and I need you to come down here so the dog doesn't go mad at TOM!" You go downstairs as he says. Tour brother leaves and the house is quiet, you put capital on with tom in your view. The song 'she looks so perfect' is on. You start humming along and your bbming on your phone. You see him staring at you on the corner of your eye and look up straight away. He looks at you, and quickly looks away, his hair is so nice and swift. He looks at you again and gives you a strange look and smiles, you smile back with a bite of your lip. You instantly regret it! What am I doing? This is my brothers friend! Omg I just not m y lip at him. You go back to bbming, When you feel a hand on your shoulder. It was tom. Your heart starts pumping and you feel all tingly. His big blue eyes stare at you and he says "I'm taking a break, can I come sit here with you?" You answer with a shy yes and he smiles once again. His smile lights up the room. What will he say? Will it be awkward? I should never of bit my lip!
"So, your 17 right? I'm 21" he says. oh no! He was 21 I thought he was 18! I died with embarrassment. You gasp and he notices. He puts his hand on your shoulder and smiles. You chat for a while about life and he says he had better get back to work!
I couldn't believe what just happened! He actually talked to me? How did he notice me? "Whatever" you think.
Your brother came back and instantly feels the tension. "What's wrong?" He says to me in a bold voice. You reply with a simple "nothing!?" Tom smiles at you and quickly gets talking to your brother "Jamie, did you watch the football game yesterday?"
The hours pass and its time for tom to go. Jamie's in the shower so you let him out. He says "well umm, later then! Guess I'll see you tomorrow babe!" He stroke's your shoulder and leaves. Omg he touched me again, he called me babe! You think to yourself and chuckle.
The next morning...
You are awoken by the loud banging of hammers. You let out a small screech and the noise stops. There a knock on your door. You say come in figuring its Jamie. Tom walks in. You panic as you are still in bed with bed hair and PJs. He smiles and says "sorry if I woke you! I thought you would be awake. It is 10:30!" I nodded and said
"Don't worry! I was going to wake up soon! what you doing now anyway?"you say shakily.
" umm well I'm pretty bored, fixing a few things! I'd love to be in that bed!.... No not like that! I just ment id farther be relaxing, not in bed with you, oh god no offence I'm sure you'd be great, no umm that came out wrong!" He said stuttering. I chuckled harshly. "Haha its OK! But you might want to leave now before Jamie comes!"
Tom walks out.
The next few days you and tom flirt childishly and mess about, being friendly, when things move to the next level. Its been 3 days since the bed incident. You and tom were talking and Jamie was out, you put the TV on and start watching an old romantic movie. An intense kissing scene comes on and tom puts his hands on your leg. You feel yourself becoming uncomfortable, but freeze and stay watching the movie. He starts playing with your hair and turns you head toward him. You stare at each other for a while and you can't resist and lean in for a kiss. He flinches and leans back, you feel stupid. He says "I.. I can't. Its wrong, your my mates sister and your just a kid, well teenager! But you are super sexy and beautiful, but I can't think like that!" You say nothing for a while and then burst into speech. " so why? Why you lead me on all this time? I felt like my lips need to know your and you worried about my brother? I'm officially an idiot!" You get up and leave.
That night the scene replays in your head. He called you sexy and beautiful, but he also called you a kid, which really hurt. You know if Jamie finds out he will be so mad, so you can't tell him. You dread seeing him the next day.
You stay up in your room the next day for as long as you can. You walked down the stairs and of course tom was there, you made no eye contact, but as you walked past he grabbed your hand. Jamie's at work and you are enjoying the summer hols. He stares at you and says "I'm sorry about yesterday! I was scared, but I haven't stopped thinking about you all night! Your not a kid, but I wish I could call you my baby! If we were together people would stare and it would be wrong!" You are so taken back and whisper "nobody has to know!" You grab his neck and kiss him passionately. It feels so right! Tom pulls away "babe! That was nice, but we can't!" You tell him to be quiet and you go I'm for another kiss. He leans away, and turns back at you and says " what the f***!" He leans in and kisses you hard and pulls your hips against his. " no! I'm 17 years old, and barley know you!" You scream. He looks at you blankly and says
"I'm sorry! I just got so caught up and carried away In you! Listen I need to get back to work, later!" He ran off up the stairs and I'm left in absolute shock of what just happened! He tried to actually go there! Lips on lips is OK, but hips on hips is to far for you! I stood in amazement still as I tried to comprehend what just happened. Oh no, Jamie can't know!
