The nightmares. They plagued her.

They were becoming too much for Ada. Flashes of the crash playing over and over and over again. The crunching of metal. The jolt. The smell of blood and gas. The flashes of lights and screams. It was all becoming too much for her. Sure, in the hospital she had a few nightmares every now and again, but now they were becoming more frequent.

She shot up out of bed and looked around. She was in her room. Safe and sound. She looked over at the phone laying on her nightstand and picked it up. She called the one person she knew she could always rely on.

"Hello?"

The person on the other end sounded like they were half asleep, but that was to be expected as it was nighttime.

"I'm sorry for waking you, Jackson, but I just needed someone to talk to."

"No need to apologize. What do you want to talk about?"

"Anything."

"Well....I'd like to see you sometime, you know....in person."

"Yeah, well my dad's just being protective lately because of everything that's happened."

"Yeah I get that, and it's been crazy for me because I've got this movie deal so..."

"Really? What movie?"

"Well I can't give details but I can tell you the movie. It's called 17 Again."

"Well, I guess I'll have to see that, especially since you were so good in High School Musical."

"Yeah, well, I have to get some sleep because we have shooting tomorrow, so I'll see you later. Maybe, we can go out sometime?"

"Yeah, that'd be great. Goodnight, Jackson."

"Night, Ada."

With that, Jackson ended the call, and Ada tried to get some more sleep.

"Stark Industries! I've got one recommendation! Ready? Ready? Sell, sell, sell! Abandon Ship! Does the Hindenburg ring any bells? Let me show you the new Stark Industries business plan!"

The man hit a coffee mug with a baseball bat.

"Look that's a weapons company that doesn't make weapons!"

Ada was watching a video about Stark Industries with Pepper when Tony called her.

"Adalene how big are your hands?"

She looked confused.

"What?" she puzzled.

"How big are your hands?" he repeated.

"I don't understand, why?" she raised an eyebrow.

"Get down here I need you."

Ada walked down the stairs as she found her dad with wires stuck to him.

"You needed me?" she asked.

"Hey. Let's see them. Show me your hands," he ordered.

She raised them and looked at him confused.

"Oh, wow. They are small. Very petite indeed," he noted.

She cocked her head in confusion.

"I just need your help for a sec," he stated.

She walked over to see the arc reactor in his chest as the monitors beeped around him.

"Oh my God. Is that the thing that's keeping you alive?" she asked.
