Ada opened the door to the Stark mansion after her walk home from her date with Jackson.

"Hello, Miss. How was the date?" JARVIS greeted.

"Please don't, J. I don't need dad getting all into my business and become a nuisance. Please," Ada pleaded as she walked towards the kitchen to grab an apple.

She tossed it around in her hand before biting into it.

"Where's dad?" she asked.

"In the lab, Miss," JARVIS answered.

"Thanks, J."

"Your very welcome, Ada."

Ada headed towards the staircase and hurriedly walked downstairs. When she reached the bottom and swung the door open, Tony had more of a suit on and was standing on a black spot on the floor.

"Day 11, test 37, configuration 2.0. For lack of a better option, Dummy is still on fire safety. If you douse me again, and I'm not on fire, I'm donating you to a city college," Tony threatened.

"Glad I take online classes," Ada spoke up.

"Dear Lord! When did you get here? I thought you went somewhere with some friend?" he questioned surprised.

"I just got here," she responded taking a bite out of her apple. "Plus, what are you even using this for?"

"Fun, extracurricular activities."

"Okay," Ada was even more confused now.

"All right, nice and easy. Seriously, just gonna start off with 1% thrust capacity. And three, two, one," Tony started to hover above the ground and landed. "Okay."

He turned to see Dummy facing him with the fire extinguisher at the ready.

"Please don't follow me around with it, either, 'cause I feel like I'm gonna catch on fire spontaneously," Tony stated.

"You make me feel like that sometimes too, Dad," Ada mumbled with a smirk, but Tony still heard.

"Just stand down! If something happens, then come in. And again, let's bring it up to 2.5. Three, two, one," Tony took off.

He struggled to stay hovered in one spot, or even over the spot on the floor. He then flew over the sports cars.

"Okay, this is where I don't want to be! Not the car, not the car!" Tony yelled as Ada held her stomach with so much laughter.

Tony then started to go over the desks and sent papers flying everywhere.

"Table! Could be worse! Could be worse! We're fine! Okay," Tony sighed in relief as he landed.

Dummy started to hold up the extinguisher.

"Ah, ah, ah!" Tony yelled. "Yeah, I can fly."

"That wasn't flying, that was falling with style!" Ada remarked.

"You did not just quote Toy Story," Tony rolled his eyes.

Ada clapped her hands.

"I'm so proud that you actually knew that! Considering you never took me to the movies or anything,"  Ada mumbled the last part.

"Ada," Tony spoke. "I'm sorry, I really am. It's just...I know it's bad to make excuses, but I am. My dad was never there for me, so I didn't know how to deal with a kid.  And then a few years later, here you come bounding into my life, and I froze. I had no clue how a dad was supposed to be, so I guess I just didn't want to try. But, all that matters is that now, I'm trying. I'm trying to be better."
