Lani and Missalea sat on the ground for a very long time after his explanation. They didn't speak, they just sat in an embrace. Missalea's breathing was soothing to Lani, and she calmed down fairly quickly.

This was the most relaxing dream she had had with him, and she hoped when she woke up that she would feel rested for once.

"Lani?" Missalea whispered to her softly, lifting her face to look at him.

"Yes Missalea?" she replied, looking into his eyes instead of his marks for once and noticing how beautiful they were.

"Something bad has happened... and I'm not sure what to do about it." He closed his eyes tightly.

Lani's stomach dropped. What else could possibly go wrong?

"I believe that I am developing stronger feelings for you then I should, and I don't know what to do... We can't co-exist in the same world without me being in the body of another... That is, if you feel the same..." He looked down at her, stroking her cheek softly.

"You should know that I do, you're in my head." She replied, looking down at her hands.

He chuckled quietly.

"What am I going to do with you?" He kissed her cheek gently and her eyes fell to his lips.

He could tell what she was thinking. She knew he could.

He leaned forwards slowly, as if asking for permission.

Her lips parted slightly, wanting his to brush against them.

He was only millimeters from her lips now, and her stomach was exploding with butterflies.

"Lani..." He whispered softly.

And then she woke up.

What the hell? She thought to herself, looking around confusedly.

Light was streaming through her window and must have woken her.

Dammit.
