"daniel?" i say as i walk towards the boy who has his eyes closed, but they soon open lazily as he looks up at me.

i move away so i can see him in the light and from what i can see his cheeks are a light pink.

i sit down on the other side of him while he just lays there looking somewhat lifeless.

but soon let's out an airy sigh before rolling over onto his side, propping his head up on his left arm.

"how drunk are you?" i ask as i glance over at his half open eyes.

"i only had two beers" he mumbles as he let's himself fall back into a lying position.

"just two?" i ask. "just two" he repeats.

finally getting bored of the silence that has over come us in the dimly lit yard, i fall back into a laying position beside the boy who only has his eyes open in little slits as he hums in a whisper.

"why are you even out here?" i ask as i stare up at the night sky which twinkles with stars.

"could ask you the same thing" he says as his eyes trace something in the sky.

"i was looking for you, now you're turn" i answer as i cross my arms behind my head.

"the music started to hurt my head and the alcohol smell wasn't helping" his voice turns into a whisper as he let's out a small yawn.

"are you feeling alright?" i ask trying to hide most of the concern, only letting some shine through.

"i'm just tired" he replies before looking over at me with a blank stare, a long blank stare.

i take notice to his eyes again, the blue pools that pull you in and just hold you there for seconds, which turn to minutes, that soon turn to hours.

it only feels that way, maybe its the beer i had but i just wanna stare in to his eyes forever.

its kinda like a little safe spot, that's peaceful and quiet.

but hen he speaks up.

"corbyn?" he says lightly nudging my arm which nudges my head. "yes?" i ask shrugging off the moment as if it didn't happen.

"are you okay?" he asks slightly giving me a look that i usually only get from jonah.

"why wouldn't i be?" is all i say before looking back up at the sky, ignoring the stare daniel keeps giving me as we let the silence over come us once more.

daniel finally sits up and he turns his head back towards the house with curious eyes.

"that guys been watching us for a while now..." he says and i just sit up, but i don't look back.

that's the dumbest thing you can do, it alerts whoever's watching you that you know that their watching you.

"he's probably just wandering what were doing outside, together" i say before peeking back towards the house where a boy, michael i believe is his name glances at us.

he quickly snaps his head always from us when were both looking at him.

"i think he likes you" daniel suddenly says and i snap my head back over to him. "is that your gaydar going off?" i ask sarcastically.

"i'm serious he didn't blush when i looked at him but when you did he blushed and turned his head" daniel says in a convincing tone.

"that's probably your paranoia" i say as i turn to see if michael is still there.

he isn't.

"besides, like i've said a thousand times already, i'm-".

"i'm cut off by soft lips being pressed to mine."
