"i'm bisexual."

just like that the words slipped out and i was standing there, ready for my father's response.

i never got my father's take on sexuality, so i didn't know how he would respond.

it was gonna be a surprise.

ashley stood by the counter sipping on her bottle of coke, she was there if something went wrong.

jordan seemed surprised as he had just walked in to the kitchen, but nodded to me with a small smile to show his support.

our father and jordan had gotten home yesterday and i hadn't been planning on saying anything but the words just came out.

my father cleared his throat, "corbyn i don't care who or what you like..."

corbyn fisted unclenched but he was still holding his breath, knowing his father wasn't finished talking.

he hadn't miss a beat coming over to me and wrapping his arms around me.

i could hear jordan and ashley leave the room and a wave of relief washed over me.

i buried my face in to his neck, finally letting my self breathe as he whispered.

"as long as you're happy with them."

six months later.

"we will be landing in five minutes ladies and gentlemen" the woman's voice rang over the speaker.

i watched the night sky slowly fade in to a purplish red color.

a yawn left my mouth, college is tiring and i've come back home to visit daniel for christmas break.

by the time we had landed, i was just looking for one person, daniel seavey.

"corbyn!" i turned to the voice who had shouted my name and there stood the brunette boy with a large smile on his face.

i returned the smile as i walked over to the boy who never let the smile leave his mouth, "i missed you."

i hugged him, letting his familiar scent fill my senses.

"i missed you too, help me grab my bags" i mumbled as i took his hand, he nodded.

he took one of my bags and i took the other as we walked to his car.

"want me to drive?" i asked and he handed me the keys.

he gave me instructions to his apartment, "take a left." as we were sitting at a red light.

"you've been staring at me since i've gotten here" i said as i looked over at him to see red appear on his cheeks.

"what, i can't stare at my boyfriend?" he scoffs and continues, "i haven't seen you for a while!"

i started driving again, "i face timed you."

he scoffed at my words, "shut up, you're here now so let me enjoy it."

"that one?" i asked as we passed apartments, "yes."

we brought my bags in to the tiny apartment, it was neat, well neater than my dorm room.

"take them in there" he pointed to the bedroom.

when i came back, i couldn't help but stare at the back of daniel as he filled a glass of water.

"so you can stare, but i can't?" daniel mumbled as he turned around.

corbyn just smiled before grabbing the boys hand and pulling him to the couch, where they collapsed.

daniel rested on corbyn's chest; he giggled before pecking corbyn's lips as they laid there just looking at each other.

"do you remember when i asked you what love meant to you?" he whispered.

corbyn nodded, "yes, why?"

"do you still think it means nothing?" he mumbled as he looked me in the eyes.

i stared at him, "of course not."

"what do you think about it then?" he asked.

i grabbed his face and pecked his lips, "being with you has taught me quite a bit of things..."

he nodded.

"one, being that i love you, a lot" i said never breaking eye contact.

"i love you too" he whispered.

"two, being love means more than just nothing...in fact it means a lot." i said.

he continued to nod as i continued to speak.

"love means something to everyone, you just have to find it first."

end.
