Harry’s P.O.V

“I’ve got it!” Louis said. I had simply sighed and looked at him expectantly.

“And what is it that you think you’ve got now?” Liam asked.

“I’ve figured it out!” He grinned proudly, the sides of his eyes crinkling slightly from the immensity of his smile. I couldn’t help but let the corners of my lips lift upwards as I took in his complete and utter happiness. I highly doubted he had figured it out though.

“You have?” Niall exclaimed excitedly. Zayn chuckled at the eager little Irish man who was teetering ever so precociously towards the edge of the box. However, Liam slapped his fingers the moment they made movement to actually open it though. Niall frowned as his stomach growled once again, and I couldn’t help but to agree with the look he was sending us —this had gone on for far too long.

I don’t know how we actually thought this was going to work out. It never did, and the amount of concern we put into it was verifiably ridiculous.

We had just arrived back from a debriefing with management and had plotted out a week’s vacation and a couple signings in various locations, as well as the odd interview or radio show appearance. As usual, we got back to the Styles-Tomlinson loft and ordered some take away food for dinner, seeing as I was too tuckered out to make bother of cooking. After a lengthy and rather annoying argument over what to get, we finally decided on two large pizzas, and hadn’t bothered working out the issue until the boxes were delivered on our door steps.

So here we were, five hungry lads around the kitchen island. Two pizzas in front of us, each divided equally into twelve pieces —twenty fours pieces in all. If you can see the problem now, continue to gasp and groan. If not, I’ll go on. Sure, if we had an extra piece of pizza, we would be absolutely fine, but as you may all very well know, twenty four does not divide into five equally.

Our options were as follows; one, split the pizzas four pieces to us each and toss the extra four (Niall would not allow us to throw away food though), two, go with twenty split as well but find some elaborate way to split the four extra into five, or lastly, one of was to go without a fifth piece of pizza. So obviously we were all trying to put our math skills to work and figure out how to divide the remaining pieces of pizza, seeing as waste is awful and none of us were willing to give up our fifth piece.
