Chapter Six: The Big Day

Eren's POV

I stared at him, then at the box, tears drifting down my face.
"Levi...."
As I looked back up at his face, he was smiling, his cheeks a bright red.
"Y-Yes! Yes Levi! I'll...i'll marry you..."
His soft hand pulls mine towards him. He takes one of the rings engraved 'Levi' and slides it on my ring finger. I grab his hand and do the same with the ring engraved 'Eren'.
I look back up at him, and a tear falls down his right cheek.
"That way, brat, we'll always be with eachother..."
He brings my hand closer, placing his lips on the ring.

Meanwhile, Mikasa is standing outside the door, listening to their conversation. She punches the wall, cracking the cinder blocks. She walks away, her heavy steps fading away as she walks to Erwin's office.

Levi's POV

Finally...he's mine. We can be together...
"Eren, I know this is cliché...but you make me the happiest man in the world."
"I'm glad I can say the same Levi."
I tackle him down on to the bed, immediately taking over his mouth.
Lifting his shirt, I leave his mouth and start to kiss from his chest down to his pants. I started to unbutton my silk shirt as he takes off his own. As I was about to unbutton his pants, the door swung right open.
"Lieutenant Levi and Cadet Jäeger. What is this?"
I quickly sat up, looking at Erwin and Mikasa standing at the doorway.
"E-Erwin I-"
"Not only are you breaking the scout's regulations, you're breaking the law. Soldiers of any kind cannot have relations within the military, and you are in relations with a minor."
"Erwin, let me explain..." I calmly get off of Eren, glaring at Mikasa who's showing the face of disgust and jealousy.
"Yes, me and Eren are in a relationship. Yes, I understand how old he is and I understand the situation I'm in. But..."
I step towards Erwin, glaring at him.
"That boy belongs with me. You can kick us out...but it would be a great loss to humanity, don't you think?..."
I cross my arms, patiently waiting for his response.
"Look Levi. I understand that losing you two would lead to devastation, but you can't be distracted-"
"I'm not distracted. So leave."
"Lev-"
I push him out, but was thrown against the wall by the bitch.
"You're giving Eren back to me..."
"I already told you...he's mine."
Ignoring all women laws, I grab her by the throat and push her against the wall, my grip getting tighter by the second. I watch her struggle before me, until a cold touch grabbed my shoulder.
"Stop it. You're not like this."
Slowly glancing over my shoulder, his hand cuffs my left cheek, locking his lips with mine. I slowly let Mikasa go, giving my attention to my fiancé. Ignoring Mikasa's gasps for air, I wrap my arms around Eren, parting and laying my head on his shoulder.

Eren's POV

Glancing at my sister, I let go and walk to her.
"That was a stupid thing to do Mikasa. First you try to rat us out, then you try to pick a fight with humanity's strongest man. I thought you weren't stupid."
"I..I was doing it for you-"
"How many times do I have to tell you. You're my sister, and I don't love you like that. I'm with Levi. Now, get out."
She stands, holding her throat, tears in her eyes, and walks out. I close the door and look back at Levi.
"I'm sorry about that..."
He's silent, his gaze is towards the floor.
I look at his wrapped wrist, still feeling guilty about it. But then my eyes turn to the shiny, gold ring.
"S-so..um... marriage huh?"
His head turns towards me, his eyes with the same emotionless expression.
"Yeah...marriage..."
I sit on the bed, turning the ring on my finger.
"Well...any plans?"
"Well..."
He sits next to me, grabbing my hand.
"I'll talk to Erwin, and maybe...just maybe... we'll sort something out..."
"Really? What if...he says no..."
"I'll make sure he won't. We're getting married, no matter what."

As the days past, and many events occured, the scouts are finally settling down.

Levi's POV
I'm waiting in Erwin's office. I just asked him about mine and Eren's arrangement. 'Please Erwin...I don't ask much from you, but please give me this...'
After minutes of watching him ponder my proposal, he finally responds.
"You promise this won't get in the way of anything?"
"I promise. Just please, I need this."
"...Fine."
I stand up quickly.
"Thank you so much sir. I'll sort everything out, you just need to be present."
With that, I walk out, slowly shutting the door.

"Yes!!" I smile, raising my arms in the air in victory.
Darting down the hall, I run into Eren, tackling him down to the ground.
"Agh! Heichou!?"
I kiss his cheeks several times, savoring his giggles.
"W-what are you doing Levi?"
"Get ready for a wedding Eren.." I stop and look at him, kissing his nose before jumping off.
"Seriously!? No joke??"
"Nope! Come on, we've got a wedding to plan."
I grab his hand and pull him up, dragging him down the hallway.
"Agh! Levi, slow down!"
I pull him to my room, looking in my closet.
"I have a couple suits in here...this one is too big for me, but it might fit you."
I toss a black suit to him, along with a matching tie.
"Go try it on, I'll find something for myself."
"Heh...you're really excited for this aren't you?"
"..Ya...I guess I am."
Glancing at him, I smile, pulling out a grey suit for myself.
"So Levi, who's going to be the woman in the relationship?"
I sharply turn my head towards him, squinting my eyes.
"...I thought we already knew this..........me of course!"
Shutting the closet door, I walk closer to him.
"I want to be carried and I want to hold the flowers and I want the first slice of cake before anyone else."
"Heh...really?"
"I never joke around about this. Ugh, now I have to find someone to take care of the flowers, then we need a baker to make the cake, and we need to find a nice place...and we have to tell everyone...at dinner."
"Wow...I never thought you'd be this enthusiastic about something like this. But, whatever you say, Mr. Jäeger."
My face turns hot and I avert my eyes, looking at the wall.
"Yeah yeah..."
"Well, dinner is around the corner...so let's tell all those 'brats' about us."
I look back at him, grabs his hair tightly and pulls him down.
"I'm the only one who gets to call people 'brat'...you fucking brat."
I push my lips on his, gripping his hair tightly. I push him back and walk out, leaving him stand there speechless.

Eren's POV

I shake my head, trying to not get turned on by him. I follow him out to the kitchen, where many of my comrades are already eating.
Me and Levi stand in front of everyone, who are paying no attention to us.
As I glance to my 'to-be husband', I could tell he was getting nervous. His fingers were fiddling together and his foot was tapping.
"E-excuse me, everyone."
He attempted to get there attention, but failed poorly. His anxiety was taking over, so I'm taking the liberty to speak up.
"Everyone, look here!"
Their attention finally turned to us.
"I-...We have an announcement!"
I grabbed Levi's hand tightly, trying to calm him.
"Me and Levi are engaged!"
The whole room was filled with gasps, followed by Jean and his shouts.
"I fucking knew Eren was gay!"
"Then what was with you and Marco then, Jean?!"
He shut up quickly, mumbling to himself.
"As I was saying, we hope to see you all at the reception."
Looking back at Levi, his face was red sweating. I've never seen him this nervous before...it's really cute. I grip his hand tighter and lead him out, feeling the stress leave his mind and body.
"Thanks Eren...I don't know what got in me.."
"Its fine. Now, let's go plan a wedding."

Days passed, and the day finally arrives. Everyone is outside, sitting down. Between the crowd is a blue isle carpet, leading to a white arch decorated in blue and white flowers.
Levi and Eren are in their room, getting ready.

Eren's POV

I fix Levi's bow-tie, tightening it as I look into his eyes.
"You ready?"
"I am..."
We walk outside, linking arms. Finally, as heads turn, we start to walk down the isle, reaching Erwin at the pedistol.
Me and Levi look at eachother, trying not to cry. As I stare into his eyes, Erwin continues with the ceremony.
After a few minutes, I began to say my vows.
"Levi...I've loved you for a long time, and I love every second with you. I promise, I will always be by your side, as your personal brat."
He smiles at me as the crowd awes in unison.
"Eren...I never thought I'd be here right now if it weren't for you. I will always be there to protect you. I love you."
Once again, the crowd says awe. In the back, Armin is holding back Mikasa from strangling Levi.
"Eren Jäeger, do you take Levi to be your lawfully wedded...husband? To have and to hold, in sickness and in health, til death do you part?"
"I do..."
"And Levi Ackerman, do you take Eren to be your lawfully wedded husband? To have and to hold, in sickness and in health, til death do you part?"
"I..I do."
"Then, without further a do...I now-"
We felt the ground shake, followed by the whole building behind us collapsing.
