I could almost see it,
The day we've been waiting.
Wedding dress,
The church, aisle full of flowers,
Melody of bells ringing.

I could almost see your eyes,
Patiently waiting in tears.
People wearing their smiles
As I walked down the aisle.

But as I get closer,
Silence was all I could hear.
There were no people smiling,
There was no YOU waiting.

Sobbing in pain,
Jolted by a cold embrace.
At my back you whispered,
"I am sorry, I left you here."

But then again,
It was just a dream.
That's why I keep on wondering,
"If fate has been so kind,
Will we keep on apologizing?"
