Travis: Bold
Ian: Italics
"Where's Mia? She's late."
"She took her salad to go today. Said something about going to the gym. She has a crush on her gym instructor but he's angry with her for breaking her diet."
"And how do you know this information?"
"I talked to her."
"Well don't talk to her anymore."
"That's a little absurd."
"You haven't let me talk to coffee girl. Why should I let you talk to my salad girl?"
"Her name is Dawn and the only reason I'm not letting you talk to her is because I care about her impression. I get these weird feelings around her. I--"
"That's gross and I don't want to hear about it. Just stop talking to Mia."
"What's your problem?"
"You're my problem. Ever since coffee girl came into the picture, I barely hear from you. Once I get a friend for myself, you always try to come in the middle of our conversations and ruin everything."
"For Christ sake, Travis! The old reason I ruined the conversation was because you were treating her like garbage. You treat everyone like garbage! That's why I don't want you to meet Dawn."
"That's not true."
"It is true."
"I'm myself when I'm around Mia and she doesn't push me away like you assholes do."
"You guilt tripped her into coming to your stupid show!"
"Yeah, right. She didn't even show up."
"Yes, she did. She showed up after you caused that big scene."
"Wait... She actually came?"
"Then you wonder why people push you away..."
AN: Okay so Ian didn't really have a proper introduction and if you're a first time reader I can predict that you'll have a natural disliking towards him because of the way he treats Travis. Just wanted to let you know that they do have tough brotherly love and because Ian does runs the diner, he has to put his foot down at times. If you still dislike him after this explanation, then I completely respect that! Ian will earn his way to your heart one way or another ;) Sorry for the long authors note!! ):
