[AN: This is a very small chapter, sorry for that; I'm busy with my sister's birthday celebrations. 😉]

Lost in his thoughts he realized that Orla was sitting on a small rock and perhaps sobbing. Her shoulders were slouched low and her hair which never ever had a strand out of place, looked all messy and was flying about in the breeze. Had he not known her so well he might have not recognized her. He was trying to figure out what to say when Orla had realized he was standing behind a tree and gestured him to move. She hurled a stone in his direction but seemed like her aim was as bad as her appearance and the stone fell far beyond him.

It was in fact aimed at scaring away a huge black bear that was running towards them. The bear took the warning, changed direction and went off.

Roff though, was shocked that he was not just detected by Orla but she was still so angry with him that she had thrown a stone at him. He said he was sorry for all that he had said and kept rattling away.

Roff: Listen, it's just that I was having a tough time keeping up with so much of information all at once. I know I didn't react rather well, but still in my defense all I can say is that I was just coming to my senses after searching for you everywhere and being trapped and injured and all that. Please can we be all right again?

Orla didn't say anything.

He moved a little closer and tried to tidy her hair up. He put his fingers along her ears and saw that her eyes were all red and there was a flower in her hands that she dropped on to the grass. She seemed like a ghost and nothing like the Orla he knew.

She looked into his eyes which seemed to seemed to be searching for something.

Roff: It all seems like a nightmare. I trusted you so blindly yet I can't say the same about you. Why?

Orla: Because I know how well you handle liquor. A little drop would make you pour your soul to whoever was ready to hear.

Roff: Yeah, right, how would you being Guru Hira and Mata Shyla's daughter matter?

Orla: You seem to have forgotten Mata Shyla's prophecy, the cause for their deaths. The Ape King hunted and killed all seers and if he knew I was their daughter, I and later our children would be dead. It was the best for all of us and moreover I was instructed by Mata Shyla to tell you only after the miracle baby was born.

Roff: O so now it's my fault?

Orla: You can forgive your best friend in the blink of an eye, after all that he did to our world, and at my parents graves you can't even feel sorry for my loss. Looks like I married a beast after all.

Roff: You married me because you didn't have a choice. You were pregnant, remember?

Orla: You foolish foolish man. I became pregnant after you became ugly.

Roff: What do you mean?

Orla: Yes, your mom wanted to know if I still wanted to marry you and, then I was so stupid, I said if I saw myself married I saw with you. Only you could be the father of my children. I told her about the cryopod Mata Shyla had entrusted me with and how I would have a baby that would bring the change in the future.

Roff: You told me that the Ape King could be brought down by a mere infant born to true bloods.

Orla: And sure enough, Vajra brought the change, except not the way we expected it to be.
Your best friend betrayed you. Hunted you to death, yet here you are arguing with me, that I can't trust you. If you think I can't trust you it's your fault not mine. I stood by you always, through all times and never did I complain. You question my integrity. Now I've had enough.

Roff: I didn't come all the way to earth for this. I should never have married you. See the price I had to pay for marrying you. Huh!

He had said the last sentence pointing to his face.

She simply walked away.

Roff: Aah! So now you choose to kill me by stabbing me in the back and still say stuff about trust and integrity.

She saw a tranquilizer dart stuck in Roff's back. It was perhaps meant for the bear that ran away a little while ago. A group of hunters were running on a nearby hillock. Clearly they had mistaken Roff for the bear.
