A few weeks after the clandestine event, a trembling Valor called her sister Val over the comm.
Valor: I'm in real deep trouble. I don't know what to do. I swear I didn't do it on purpose. It all happened in a hurry.
Val: What did you do this time? I'm the one that's prego and you won't believe I can already almost feel its movement. Strange na, I know it's way too early but maybe I'm imagining it...
Valor: That is exactly what went wrong.
Val: what do you mean?
Valor: I think I mixed the samples and got you prego with my experiment so that means I have Hira's baby.
Val: you are not making any sense. I don't get it.
Valor: no wonder you are experiencing the movement of the baby so soon. I saw your reports, it's growing at an alarming rate and only then did I realize my folly.
Val: O no, what will we tell Shyla? What have you done?
Valor: I don't know what I'm doing any more. We can switch babies when they are born.
Val: I don't want to talk to you. You are the worst thing to have Happened to me.
Valor, sat down crying by the comm, not knowing what to do next. She wanted to tell Shyla about it but was scared, moreover, cryogenics had been banned and so she couldn't tell anyone about it.
Orla is Hira and Valor's child, still a trueblood.
Sara is Dev and Shylas child through Val. They switched the babies after Orla was born and Val vowed never to meet her again.
Sara had always felt like an outsider, someone who wasn't wanted. It wasn't the case though. Valor loved her extremely but the thought that Sara might get expelled from 3Shells made her double her efforts to slow down Sara's growth. She had to keep her hidden until an antidote was found, administered, and successful. This meant more experimenting. By then, the thought that she was not accepted the way she was had firmly taken roots. she was usually full of spite and bitterness and never quite understood her parents' love for her.
Dev had given up trying to befriend Sara and usually kept to himself.
Shyla's visions of her daughter destroying 3shells was true after all. Her daughter was Sara, just genetically modified.
When Shyla had told Orla about her being Hira's daughter she hadn't quite made a mistake. Even in handing over Sia to her she wasn't exactly wrong as she shared the same bloodline.

When Daren told Roff and Orla about the births of Sara and Orla, they couldn't believe it. They were getting sleepier by the moment and couldn't quite put forth their thoughts. Daren went back to his sleep spot. A robot had come around to check on them and close the Pearl. So before they could react, they were asleep.
Gibbs' duty was almost over when they received a message from one of the sentinels. The robot relayed it over.
Earth is changing its ways. But they need your help. Please return immediately.
Gibbs was very excited with the message and went and woke Maula, Harry, Daren, Roff and Sara.
