Tuesday 14th November ~ 11:14am

Mark's POV:

"Move."

Dark and Anti waited with the cell door open, watching as I rose from the floor. If anyone could tell us what was going on it'd be those two, but I couldn't find the words to ask questions.

It's not like I would actually get answers.

Jack's movements were slower, legs trembling for a moment as he got up. His palm rested on the wall for balance.

"Hurry up." Darkiplier snapped, scowling.

I clenched my fists. "He's like this because you guys drugged him!"

Jack waved me off when I tried to help him, and Anti snickered as he always did. Just hearing it irritated me further.

"Jackaboy wouldn't have needed to take a nap in the first place if you hadn't been so difficult." Anti accused, pointing at me.

"How the heck was that my fault?!"

Anti's smirk widened. "If you hadn't be such a pain in the arse to get here, then maybe-"

"Shut it." Dark hissed, scowling at Anti. His gaze turned back to us. "And I thought I told you two buffoons to HURRY UP."

Anti opened his mouth to argue, yet closed it again.

It was clear who was in charge here.

When I reached the cell door Dark shoved me forward, doing the same to Jack and nearly knocking him off balance. Dark led the way down the hallway, Anti bringing up the rear.

"Why can't I make him feel guilty Daaark?" Anti moaned. He sounded like a sad child, and in response Dark sighed.

"Because you'll make him think he has some kind of power."

Jack and I exchanged a glance, like we were silently asking each other what was happening. Jack spoke up.

"What couldya people possibly want?"

Dark stopped outside a door, Anti passing us to unlock it.

"All will be revealed." Dark informed us, his tone change doing nothing to help my emotional state. Fear was setting in. "By the time you find out-"

Jack's fist met Darkiplier's gut.

"RUN!"

I bolted down the hallway, grabbing Jack's arm and dragging him along with me. My heart rate shot up, legs overworking themselves, and for the first time in my life I wouldn't dare look behind me. If this was a horror game I would.

Yet this was far too real.

I ran faster than Jack could.

"AGHHH-!"

I spun around just in time to see Jack hit the ground, clutching his head and shrieking as though his skin was on fire. Thoughts of escape were replaced with concern.

"Jack-!!"

Dark gripped both my arms, securing them behind my back. All I could do was watch Jack as screams of agony tore from his throat, even though he had no visible injuries. Jack was pulling at his own hair.. "PLEASE, N-NO, ST-ST-AAAAAAGH-!"

I yanked at my arms.

"Jack!! WHAT THE FUCK DID YOU DO TO HIM!?"

Dark laughed, a sinister sound if I ever heard one.

"Anti, I think that's enough."

Dark spoke to nobody - Anti seemed to have vanished since me and Jack had sprinted. I hadn't noticed before then,

Jack's screaming died down, replaced with tearful gasps for oxygen as he laid on the concrete. I'd never seen him looking so fragile.

Anti appeared - having materialised out of nowhere. He still wore an evil smirk.

Dark let me go and I was at Jack's side in an instant.

"Jack, Jack are you okay?" I asked, taking Jack's trembling hands in my own in an attempt to calm his nerves. Jack gave me a weak nod.

I glared at Dark and Anti.

"What the heck did you do to him?!"

"Sean was taught a lesson." Dark stated, blunt as he folded his arms. His demeanour fuelled my anger. "He now knows that Anti and I-" Dark motioned to Anti. "-can make you both feel immeasurable amounts of pain. Sean already knows Anti can take control of him, so you should both really understand by now that there is no escaping us."

I balled up my fists. They weren't wrong. The odds were really stacked against me and Jack.

"Y'know, it was fun controlling him again." Anti thought aloud, staring at Jack. His grin spread ear to ear. "It's only fitting that I give Jackaboy a little... Punishment?"

Jack sat himself up, an expression of horror on his face, and as Anti stepped towards us I moved between the two. There was no way I'd just let Jack go through such torment.

"You're not about to do that again." I growled.

Dark sighed.

"Hm-"

I was slammed and pinned against the wall, Dark coming out of nowhere before I could even think about moving. My chest stung.

Despite looking like me Dark apparently had twice my strength.

"Mark!"

Anti heaved Jack up, forcing him to stagger down the hallway, and I fought using all I could to try and move yet couldn't. Jack was being taken away from me again. "Sean!! Don't you fucking TOUCH HIM!" I bellowed.

Jack attempted to turn around yet Anti seized the man's arms and escorted him faster. "Mark, i-it's gonna be okay-!!"

Dark leaned in close to me as I saw the pair disappear into a room, a chill running through my body as I dreaded to think what could've happened next.

Whatever it was would be my fault.

"Sean's wellbeing is the least of your concern now."

I gulped.
