Mark's POV: (BLOOD AND GORE WARNING)

"GAAAAAH!!"

Jack screeched into the gag, Anti giggling with a sadistic grin as he painted everything red. From Jack's chest, to the chair he sat tied to, to the floor and his kitchen knife. The whole room reeked of blood and we'd only been there a few minutes.

I yanked hard at my restraints, pleading through the gag for him to stop. Not that there were any hopes that he would.

"Mmph! Mmph!!"

"Calm yourself, Markimoo," Anti assured, running bloodstained fingers through Jack's hair. The Irishman whimpered. "You'll get your turn."

"What I can't comprehend is how they came to be out of their cells." Dark thought aloud, all the while Anti slashed Jack's torso again. The horror on his face was too much for me to handle.

I wasn't about to sit back at let this happen.

"MMPH!" I yelled, struggling harder.

"Well, I sure as hell don't know."

Anti's next cut was slow, the blade dragged across Jack's skin in such a way that the man howled louder than I'd ever heard him - the demon unable to contain his laughter. I tugged and squirmed even harder.

The blood was pooled at their feet and I didn't want to know how much more Jack could lose before it was too late.

"MMPH-!"

"SHUT UP!" Anti snapped, his response such a surprise that I was shocked into silence. Jack flinched. "YOU THINK I'M GONNA STOP JUST BECAUSE YOU HAVE A LITTLE TANTRUM AND CRY?!"

The demon took a fistful of Jack's hair and ripped his head up, hysteria in Anti's voice as he broke into a fit of screeching laughter.

"I'LL GIVE HIM SOMETHING TO SCREAM ABOUT-!"

I thought Jack had been at his loudest before, but I was about to be proved wrong.

The knife danced across Jack's body, tearing his chest apart with no mercy. The gag over his mouth couldn't muffle the shrill, animalistic shrieks that erupted from the back of Jack's throat. It was as though it would last an eternity.

As though all Jack had ever wanted in his life was for it to stop. I begged and fought for it to stop.

But it was never ending.

Anti slashed over, and over, and over again.

His words shook me to my core.

"I HOPE YOU DIE! I HOPE YOU BLEED OUT AND FUCKING DIE!"

I screamed. No matter how hard I kicked, and lashed out, and bawled - I couldn't do anything. I could only watch as Jack writhed around in agony. His movements were slowing down with every passing second.

He couldn't take much more of it and neither could I.

Anti brought his arm up for another blow, but a hand gripped his wrist.

"That's quite enough."

Jack choked down oxygen as though it was his only salvation, the man now reduced to a sobbing and bleeding mess. Dark took the knife from Anti's grasp. "We need them alive."
