Connor ran into his parents room crying "M-mommy" he sobbed as he climbed up into bed next to her hugging her tightly "M-mommy!" his voice grew more urgent, his eyes flickered around the pitch black room breath hitching when he realized that even in his parents room monsters could be lurking.
Cynthia hugged back stroking his hair "What's wrong baby?" she asked concerned as she began to gently rock him.
"Th-there's a m-monster in my r-room!" he buried his face in her shoulder now sobbing
"Shhh, it's okay you can sleep here tonight tomorrow we can go get a nightlight tomorrow. The small boy nodded eagerly and curled up against his mother hugging her tightly falling asleep rather quickly.
The next day Cynthia took Connor to the store and watched as he eagerly grabbed a Ninja Turtle nightlight.
