•Chapter Five• Is Cupid Real?

River's POV
*the next morning*

I am awoken by a bright light and a blaring sound reaching my ears. "Get up ladies, rise and shine" a CO screams as he enters the bunk "JESUS FUCKING CHRIST" I hear Nicky yell as she is woken up and begins to get out of bed. I giggle as I get up as well and grab my stuff to take to the bathroom. I see Nicky with her puffy bright ginger, blonde hair bounce off her shoulders. But I loose track of her as I am grabbed by the wrist; "yo! What the hell?!" I yell realizing it's Vause hold my wrist.
"Hey swan are you and Nichols a thing?" She asks as she looks down at me
"I have no idea" I say truthfully
"Well you need to figure that out before Nichols jumps off the train Swan" Alex says as she walks away to piper who is at least thirty yards away.

I walk to the bathroom and begin to take a shower with 45 minutes until breakfast. I walk in to the showers and see bright ginger hair getting dressed
"Damn she's hot" I thought to myself as I pretend to walk by and not to notice that my major crush is there in front of me.

"Oh hey swan what's up" I hear from behind me
"Are you avoiding me or something" she says as she turns me around to face her. I begin to look at her from her wet ginger hair to her toes admiring every centimeter of her body.
I start to imagine what our lives would be like together. Having kids, getting married, a hopefully out of prison. I'm cut out of my thoughts when Nicky snaps her fingers near my eyes

"Yo Swan you alright it looked like you were checking me out" she says as she chuckles and smirks
"No of course I wasn't. Why would I do that?" I say as my eyes dart in multiple directions, something I do when I'm nervous.
" Tell that to your eyes miss Swan" she says to me as she gathers her stuff to take back to our cube
"Fuck!" I say to myself as I turn on the water.

After the shower and now at breakfast

After what happened in the showers my mind is scrambled but I remembered how to get to breakfast and end up behind Piper in the food line. I get my food and sit where I sat next to Morello and Piper and Nicky across from me.
"So River are ya gay, straight, bisexual?" I hear Morello say
"OOF" I hear Alex say

"Umm gay" I say while looking at my eggs and taking a bite I look at Nicky and she laughs giving her signature smirk.

We keep on talking about useless shit that will never make sense to a human being. And after breakfast was over all of us went to the common room to play cards which ended up to truth or dare, big mistake

"Alright everyone let's play this game." Nichols says
We all gather in a large circle (Alex, Chapman, Morello, Nicky, Red, Gina and myself)
"Okay ummm Swan truth or dare" Morello says.

"Dare" I say

"Okay I dare you to kiss Nicky" she says as she looks at Nicky and then me

"Kiss her good" Alex says.

I scoot over to Nicky and we just sit there.
Nicky looks around as she grabs my waist and pulls me close she lays her soft and gentle lips on mine as I grab her face. We kiss until we run out of breath. Our forehead lean against each other's 

"Wow!" I say
"What?" Nicky says
"I guess Cupid is real" I say as I look around and everyone is in awe
"Yeah I guess so"

Hey y'all it's August what's cookin? Anyway Merry Christmas or happy holidays everyone so I will update in the new year because I don't go back to school until the 9th of January so I got time btw MY BIRTHDAY IS IN 5 Days (December 29) so I hope y'all have a merry Christmas and a happy new year Love Y'all
