Recap: Parker goes to a party with Elise and Avery, but gets drunk and decides to follow Kade by hopping in his trunk. He finds her in his car and informs her to stay put, but she follows him anyway down a dark alley to find that he's illegally fighting some man while bystanders cheer him on. Unfortunately, Parker is noticed by one of the bystanders when she observes the fight which draws Kade's and everyone else's attention to her.

Also, I changed the name "the black guy" to "Black Shirt" because my 16 year old brain didn't comprehend that some people might take this term offensively. Anyway, happy reading!

"Guys, quit it. She's with me."

I'm unable to stifle my shock as I gape at Kade. Immediately, all the buff guys stalking towards me like I'm their prey halt in their footsteps, turning to Kade with confusion.

"She was supposed to stay in the car like a good girl, but Reynolds' sister prefers to defy me instead," he claims.

"That's Reynolds' sister?" the long-bearded guy asks with a slight southern accent, his gaze turning to me. I shudder in disgust as he eyes me up appreciatively, his tongue running over his bottom lip, "She's hot."

"Back off, I don't do relationships," I spit, narrowing my eyes at him in warning.

"Wow, she's feisty, as well," the long-bearded dude reals back, his beady eyes twinkling at me.

"I'm not into pedophiles either," I tell him, crossing my arms over my chest. At this point, I'm fully visible to the small crowd of people gathered around Kade, having stepped away from the brick wall when Kade informed them to leave me alone.

"She's a lesbian," Kade says.

My jaw comes unhinged, "You bastard! If anything, you are the one who's gay! You find absolutely no girls appealing."

"She is right, ya know," an African American dude wearing a black shirt says. "You don't even spare one glance at the prostitutes we have here."

"How do all you know about my brother?" I question accusingly, changing the topic abruptly. I may be imagining it, but Kade might be shooting me a look of relief. "Don't tell me he's a part of this gang also."

Kade laughs, and I flinch as the sound of his deep baritone ringing around the hollow walls of the alleyway. "Sweetheart, this isn't only a gang. It's a street fighting business."

My jaw brushes the ground again and unconsciously, I take a step back. No wonder why all these guys here appear to be in extremely good shape. They must be able to knock out a horse!

"You know the rules, Pudgy," a bald man with sleeved tattoos covering his arms steps forward, a grimace plastered on his face. "No revealing this business to outsiders. Or else." He makes a slitting motion across his throat and feigns a dead face as his tongue lolls out to the side.
